i think its safe to say that there are 2 categoryies of boogeymen in boxing.

there are the media/fan created boogeymen like golovkin,kovalve,lomachekno,matthsyse,and so on and so forth,guys whho are typically power punchers with a high KO ratio,but havent stepped up and faced anyone of note (kovalve was considered one of them prior to bhop/pascal fights)

then there are the defensive,slick boogeymen who are often highly skilled with superb boixng skills,who are highly avoided as well. Guys like rigo,lara,ward,andrade,herrerra,dirrell bros fit under this category.

both sides have boogeymen who (at times) have a difficult time finding fights,whether it be due to the high risk,low reward or non-existent fan base,or physical fear.

which are truly more "feared" in your opininon

ggg-reached out to every notable fighter in the division and tried to fight them

ward-many of the top guys in his division offered him fights but he refused while trying to fight guys like truax and sartison

i havent read about this,but if true it might have something to do with the fact that kovalves team have made it impossible to work with al haymon and stevensons team,as well as network issues. but either way,i dont think haymon and roc nation are on equal terms either

good answer,tyson had a great deal of fans but he was still a boogeyman because of his phyiscality,thus bringing out anxiety from potential foes. slick fighters who are extremely skilled,but have a lower fanbase also make it very hard to find people willing to fight them

please explain how ward has had difficulty finding fights? over the last 4 years he was offered career high pays to fight bute, stevenson, and froch rematch but he turned them all down. sure he had difficulty fighting truax, periban, and sartison because those fights are jokes and no one wnated to see them.

why would you put ward on the "avoided" list when its simply not true? do you not like facts? he has avoided everyone in his division for 4 years. can you imagine if ggg did that? would you be putting ggg on the avoided list if he didn't fight cotto, lee, quillin, etc? i dont think so. stop being biased and look at the facts. stop crying and saying ward is being ducked when its not true. stop trying to create a fake narrative where he's being avoided simply because he doesn't want to fight.
