I enjoy watching 135 Mayweather, but that is not my final answer.

The only correct answer is Roberto Duran at 135 pounds.

        Good post fam.

That first fight with De Jesus wasn't at lightweight. Duran never lost at lightweight ever.

duran is a good shout, but whitaker and mayweather are actaully one dimensional fighters.

ray leonard was floyd mayweather with more activity, a better chin, and with the abiliyt o be aggressive and knock people out. floyd can't do what he can do, but he could do what floyd did. he outboxed bigger, better boxers than floyd ever could. he also knocked tommy hearns out, and took his gas! not miguel cotto, not canelo alvarez, tommy hearns.

Has to be Ray Robinson for me a joy to watch and he fought in such a tough era which quite frankly I don't think many of the current crop of guys around now could cope with that era and expectation on their shoulders.
Constantly fighting he had a crazy schedule and not just anyone can cope with that If he likely fought in this era where fighters only fight once to twice a year I'm sure he would likely never lose.

Based on attributes (tested against the best), how can there really be an answer beyond Ali or Robinson. Both guys had tremendous speed, both were athletic, ATG chins, punch selection, punch accuracy, power (people underrate Ali's punch power) and both were pleasing on the eye in different ways. Robinson was so fluid in attack, Ali so brilliant in defense. Both guys had their mettle tested against the very best.

Leonard, Hagler, Armstrong and possibly Pep are runners up.
                agree 100%...

the young cassius/ali could really predict what rounds he would take opponents out...

and he has very fast hands and feet for a hw...

float like a butterfly and sting like a bee! the master strategist!

                  This is my answer too.

Roy relied on his athleticism and wasn't text book skilled but that man was unbeatable in his prime.

Mike Tyson was close to perfect as a heavy, only thing missing was mentality.
                    He wasn't even close then.

Duran, Mayweather, Hagler, and Leonard are probably the most well rounded fighters I've ever watched.
