1) HBO/K2/team Golovkin know that Gennady cannot beat Ward, which is why Golovkin won't fight him.

2) GGG has 0 options at 160, but is not willing to move up and take a risk

3) GGG cannot consider options at 168, because the Ward situation is becoming embarrassing for him

Ward fighting at 168 restricts Golovkins options considerably.

Any unbiased/knowledgable observer can clearly see that.
