And Floyd had to play into the favoritism in order to be seen and create a model to make him successful. If Floyd, with his talent and background, was anything but black he would not have had to make himself hated in order to be successful. Like the adage goes: America loves a winner, unless he's black.

As far as the second bold comment; Kov and ggg never fought a top tier black fighter. Kov beat a 50yr old man and ggg's best was Willie monroe who didn't have time to develop. This shows the accolades you will give a white fighter for beating somewhat decent black guy vs a black guy beating everybody.
Lol, but had Hopkins won, which was expected, there would have been no mention of his age. It fact, it would have been like a Pavlik moment. It's a two edged sword my friend. The Klitschko's have repeatedly beaten the brakes off black fighters for decades now and that's why black-America doesn't embrace them as the kings of the glamour division.

Now tell me I'm lying. It's sour g****s because of times slightly changing.

That goes back to my gold miner comment. It's saturation of the market. There's a lot of former Russians boxing now and it shows.

Look I can't speak for Mayweather but I can provide my interpretation of his comments.
      1) When is comes to Manny, I believe what he's trying to say is you have all of these Black and Latino fighters that are damn good at what they do but American Television and the powers that be choose to put the money and push behind the fairer skin fighter or the non black/dark skinned Latin fighter when they are up against a fighter of darker skin. Even when the fairer skinned fighter is matched soft, his lack of competition is overlooked and not scrutinized in the same fashion as its seems the competition of darker skinned fighters are.
      2) When it comes to GGG compared to Ward. GGG can fight the local bus driver and HBO seems to be fine with it. And it commentators glorify is dominance of sub par competition. There's never a request, call for, or statement made about GGG going up a division to seek a challenge.
Then you have Ward, who has proven his abilities by fighting what was deemed to be the top completion of his division at the time. Instead of allowing Ward to remain at his division and fight whomever, you're refusing anybody he presents you as an opponent. You won't allow him another fight on your network unless he goes up a division whether he's ready or not. You won't allow him the same luxuries that you allow GGG.
You can say it has to do with ticket sales but it does not because HBO does not make anything off ticket sales. You can say it has to do with viewership but that's not true because I think you'll find that Ward's HBO numbers and GGG's about the same. Hell you can even argue that GGG is willing to accept less than Ward for fighting on their network and I call bulls%it because the promoter guarantees the purse not the network. The promoter sells the broadcast rights to the network and I'm sure RocNation would be willing to pay Ward what he wants as long as they can have his fight shown on HBO even if it meant taking a reasonable loss.
These are the double standards Floyd is trying to point out in my opinion.

If you happen to watch the Rios/Bradley fight on HBO this past weekend and listened to the glory and praise given to Lomo and Rios by Lampley you might understand what Floyd is talking about. I'm mean literally while Bradley is beating the breaks off of Rios, Lampley is saying the Rios may have been the best 135 lb fighter of all time yet he gives no praise of Bradley to the level he's giving Rios and Bradley is putting on an unbelievable showing.
Then with Lampley's praising of Lomo, and you think back to Rigo. Here Lomo is really toying with his opponent. He's not going for the KO. He's not loading up on shots. He's just boxing. But Lampley is praising him as a boxing God. And you think back to Rigo who dominates his opponents in similar fashion only to be crapped on every chance Lampley, Arum, and HBO gets.
HBO is an American Television company but refuses to put the money and push behind the darker skinned American fighter unless he's fighting his arch nemesis everytime out. And as of recent they have shown no intrest in putting a big push behind darker skinned North American fighters compared to those of lighter skin from anywhere Earth.
Its just an opinion. You'll either agree or disagree.

This isn't true at all. Wlad is no different than Larry Holmes. They are not embraced because the division sucks when they were at the top.

Very few black HWT champs have been embraced by the black public like Ali and Tyson. Surely you are aware of this.

They have both done nothing but coast through decision for marketed reasons. lol

Mayweather needs to stay in Bora Bora stiff dlcking Beiber in the ass while watching Yusaf Mack videos.

Floyd seems to have issues when non-black athletes start getting some shine or hype behind them. This goes back his ridiculous statements about the UFC, Jeremy Lin and now GGG.

Back in 2009 he basically implied that the only reason the UFC was created was so white guys could look good in combat sports, this was his exact quote:

In boxing, we know who's dominating. Black fighters and Hispanic fighters is dominating in this sport. And this is not a racial statement but there's no white fighters in boxing that's dominating, so they had to go to something else and start something new.
Then there is his Jeremy Lin statement:

"Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he's Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don't get the same praise,"
Let me tell you this, as a Knicks fan, we haven't been able to replace Jeremy Lin at the PG spot since he left the team in 2012. We've had Raymond Felton and Jose Calderon, who were disasters. One guy can't play defense and the other can't hit a wide open shot.

Jeremy Lin had an 7 game stretch in 2012 where he avg. 24 and 9, Knicks won 7 straight games (which helped them get the 7th seed in the playoffs while Carmelo was out). He finished the season ranked top 10 in Player Efficient Rating (PER) among Point guards. He had a really strong year and since then the Knicks haven't been able to replace him at that position. Now, Lin has come back to earth in a sense but he's still a very viable point guard.

Floyd basically attacked him as if he was just some random nobody who got special treatment because he's Asian, and then hid behind "Well I'm just supporting black athletes." When in reality Jeremy Lin was balling.

Now this thing with GGG, they want to build a "white star". Let's pretend for a second that GGG isn't half Korean, why would that be such a bad thing?
I think it's actually a good thing when other groups are also excelling in sports. It brings more people into the sport. It creates intrigue.

Finally, no one forced Andre Ward to move up. What Ward wanted to do was simply unrealistic. Ward wanted to stay at 168 in the hopes that GGG would eventually move up, while fighting tune ups in the meantime and getting paid well over $2M, something HBO couldn't afford. HBO simply didn't have credible fighters available at 168 to match Ward during that time, because all the top names are either with Haymon, Sauerland and Arum. HBO couldn't afford to just allow Ward to fight the Paul Smith's of the world, while getting paid over $2M per fight until that moment happened (which could take a year or even longer). It's not like Ward had a plethora of options at 168 and HBO just told him "Nope, you're going up to the slaughterhouse." He just doesn't have anyone to fight at that weight class. It's not like Ward is out of his depth either at 175, I think he'll do very well at 175 and he has a good chance of beating Kovalev.

The fact that GGG has 2 big options at 160 gives him a reason to stay at that weight class, for the time being ,especially since both fights are unification fights and neither opponent is tied to a promoter who won't work with HBO.

... another example on how 'conspiracy' conspires to create 'white stars'...

You are behaving so blinkered that don't even realise the irony of what you have typed. Only in posts of this nature do people used words like "clear" to voice their opinion of "anyone" who doesn't fit their agenda. But a black guy saying there is a conspiracy to promote a white guy isn't racially on your radar.

For the record the term "race card" is universally known to be used as a deflection of the facts when needed, ask 70% of employers and possibly 100% of lawyers. I have dated a couple of black ladies in the past, who were both well aware of the many ways racism can manifest at any time (usually at me from black guys, who felt I should be dating white women). I am also fortunate enough to be in a managerial position, which has at times resulted in the dismissal of Eastern European, African and Indian staff for attempting to play the "race card".

Floyd is in the business of making headlines and controversy sells!

You most certainly have been sheltered and babied, but it's probably not your fault, so no drama.

                Cheers

Just about sums it up. Even Floyd fanboys know this.

Are black people getting insecure about getting their asses kicked by Eastern Europeans? Floyd has always been a queen. Fight Golovkin in the ring, not the press.

                      #preach_floyd

GGG should fight Ward - why he wont but wants to drop a ton of weight only to fight a retired Floyd makes no sense - if he's truly as good as Sanchez says it shouldn't be a problem

Mayweather can say what he wants - he conquered boxing
I think he's setting himself up to make brilliant promoter - those moves will involve creating drama which will make great entertainment

                      Good on ya TBE
