How I also see it from Ward's POV.

It took him beating - Miranda, Kessler, Abraham, Froch and Bika within 2 years to make it to #3 in the Pound for Pound charts. He did that all within 25 fights.

Golovkin has no where near that type of resume, or fought anyone close to challenging him yet is being crowned by nearly all boxing sites as deserving of a top 5 chart.

No matter how you cut it or slice it, that's incredibly bias.

Ward didn't even make it onto any P4P charts for beating Miranda and Kessler back to back.

It does seem as though he's having to work a lot harder to gain respect whilst others don't have that same obligation and are given a free pass.

Why would you go p4p for Miranda and Kessler lol? You kidding? Miranda was a gatekeeper and Kessler wasn't even top 25 p4p then. Wtf?

I wasn't using Ward's current status as a determinent for where he should be place in the pound for pound charts right now.

I was comparing the fact that it took longer for Ward to make a dent in the pound for pound charts than Golovkin, even though he fought better and more challenging opponents within a shorter space of time.

That was also his fourth fight at SMW.

That's definitely enough!

He beat the man in his first fight within the Super Six.

Beating Miranda in your 19th fight is also something to be much respected.

It still wasn't enough to get him placed in any pound for pound charts.

Others however are quickly pushed into the chart on the basis of nothing, in other words, not fighting any challenging opponents.

Froch is his best name & Froch is flawed. Now I was a Froch fan back when these & other forums hated on him. Froch was tough, had heart & a fight anyone attitude.
The latter was because he wanted the paydays, that changed once he'd earned some money.

Froch loses to Calzaghe, Hopkins, Benn, Eubank, Hagler
. Kessler another of Wards big names lost when he had his 0 & never knew how to lose to Calzaghe
Abraham (another flawed fighter) ost more impressively to Froch.
Dawson was weight drained & lost more impressively to Stevenson.
Who else in on Wards resume?

Wards talent has been wasted due to his inactivity, hometown advantage & negative fighting style.

Ward should have moved up years ago after he unified, what's he been waiting on?
GGG is exciting, he entertains & knows how to fight. How often u see him grabbing on to protect himself?

Hell No!!! But if I was it sure as hell wouldn't be through my promoter or trainer! Ppl think I don't like GGG??? I love GGG but can't STAND cheap@ss K2 and his MEDIA HO trainer! And the GGGTards make it harder and harder every day for me to find a reason to still love him...

I like GGG too as he makes for good fights and is a solid fighter . I also have to try very hard to separate the garbage spewed by many of his fans just to maintain a liking for the guy , but it's hard as the stench tends to affect my rational faculties sometimes .
