The fact is that Andre Ward is very skilled at what he's doing and he reached a certain level at which he can't be improved (much)... My opinion is that Ward can box like B-Hop, like Floyd... even better than those two... On another hand, Ward doesn't hold a thunder KO punch as, for instance, Stevenson and Beterbiev have at LH...

Therefore I think that Ward knows very well that he hasn't have to take any "dangerous" opponent at LH until he would fight Kovalev -- if he ever fights him...
Would be a dream come true if Ward chooses Beterbiev next as a tuneup

    only dreams))

Yesterday he said he'll be Fighting Kovalev at "Some point"

Twice yesterday Ward said he was gonna fight Kovalev at "some point."

Since you all love to hang on every word GGG says, let's play fair.

If he was really planning on fighting Kovalev in 2016, he wouldn't be saying at some point.

He is milking this PPV to look good.

But hey, GGG is fighting bums though.

The hypocrisy around here is not as stunning as it used to be.

      Exactly.

He is already saying at "Some point" to the press, as if he knows something.

He wanted to fight GGG at some point next year too.

Now he says he'll fight Kovalev at some point.

I'm guess he he'll need tune ups until Kovalev shows a weakness to him. Maybe an injury or something.

But, but, he really really wanted GGG. He really did.

      But Brand! Lol! Wow!

Yeah, why criticise a fighter with one legitimate opponent in 4 years. Like, they shouldn't even fight so often.

Ward makes me laugh. He's lying to the fans.I mean what state/commission refuse a fight FFS?

I could think of a ton of fights Ward could take/have.He wants the big pot of money....Well it ain't gonna happen Dre,no one wants to watch you fight guys like Smith.Fight fighters who are relevant, then the public might tune in to watch you on BET

He is having a contracted tune up before he goes up against the king of that division, am not going to critise him for that. I would rather he came out and say it like he just did, than him claiming he would fight anyone from 168 to 175 whilst fighting no one. Again I would not critise him for it. If he doesn't fight Kovalev however after in those 3 fights contract then i would simple. The same way i didn't critise GGG when he said i would fight anyone from 154-168 but I then critise him when he actually didn't when presented with the opportunity.

He's been talking about fighting stevenson or kovalev or pascal for years and had years of tune ups. why wont you criticise him for that? is that normal for a supposed p4p no.1 ?

The first fight in the deal is in two weeks. He'll have one more fight before Kovalev.

So what about Ward saying he would fight heavyweight champs.

Or Hunter saying he'd be heavyweight champ by now.

Also, so Ward can fight bums until he is ready.

But GGG, he has to drop what he is doing as soon as someone says his name.

Stop acting like you are being objective here.

Fact is that Ward, Roc Nation, HBO and Kathy Duva have all expressed confidence the Ward vs Kovalev fight will take place sometime next year. That's about as good as it's going to get at this point. Not really sure what else you want to hear...
