Funny how he would fight Chavez Jr. Froch at 168, yet he only would fight Ward @164............SMH.
right, because negotiating concessions made for 1 fighter MUST then be given to every other fighter in the division.

Like when Ward said he would come down to 160 for Floyd, I guess that means he has to offer that to GGG as well?

But the bare facts are actually different: Golovkin (who holds two titles at 160) is the mandatory (at 160) for the Cotto/Canelo fight winner (who will hold two titles at 160). It's simple and it's for real.
havent you heard? Unless GGG agrees to fight Ward at 168, in Oakland, wearing Grant gloves, with a 90-10 split Wards way, and Pat Russel as ref, then its a duck.

because wards 7 fans say so

      smh.......

It's not nice to laugh at some guy who completely lost touch with reality.

In case you didn't notice so far: Golovkin is actually wearing Grant gloves... It seems he doesn't need horsehair padding.

but i dont want to see either fight at 160 even it up a bit for these fake mw's or let them walk
When they sparred each other 4-5 years ago Saul held his own and did quite good I might add for being soo raw and young. Sparring I know but GGG KO'd Bute with head gear on.

Haven't you heard Ward is going to be fighting Kov. While GGG will be fighting Andy Lee. Cotto or Saul will fight without a CW. And ODH already said he needs a few fights against 160lbers before GGG.

Your " facts " are very bare alright.

Your facts didn't mention that Golovkin has no problem with catchweights when it comes to Andre Ward.

Your facts also forgot to mention that Cotto weighs 153.

Very " bare " facts indeed

Well floyd is out the picture...manny is soon to be also.....either cotto or canelo will soon be by the way side as one will have to lose...so that just leaves the winner of 155 pretenders to man up and fight the best middleweight in the world...HBO will implement it....the WBC will order it..u might not like it ****kicker but it's the way it is."...you sound really angry because golovkin is taking over the middleweights ......I can recommend you a good counsellor and you can unload all your bitterness and anger and your be a new person ....it will be unification fight and it will be for the 160 title and that's the way it s....let me know how you get on with anger management meeting ok

And I'm sure if the American public had to choose a Mexican canelo over golovkin I will be very surprised
Same story as the guy above.....

..... your " facts " conveniently only tell half the story.

The fact that Golovkin demanded a catchweight from Ward, and then justified that demand by stating that he is the "A-side"..... and the fact that Cotto weighs 153, and actually IS the "A-side"..... will not be forgotten just because you guys choose to ignore them.

There is no such thing as a 172 fighter.

According to Loeffler, Ward was considering a catchweight for Ward.

So he can obviously make 168.

Anyway, Ward has moved to 175 now so Golovkin can sleep easy.

You just made me realize. In Ret@rdville, Ward is a light heavyweight because he fought his last fight at 172. But, Cotto fought his last fight at 153, but he's not a jr middleweight.
