If GGG is dead set on 160, then they take it or vacate.
That will be a problem for Canelo more so than Cotto.
Besides, Canelo benefits from not doing a catchweight.
He rehydrates to the same as GGG.
He can put his body through less strain by doing it at 160.

Why should he have the MW belts if he thinks he is too small to fight MW?
I just dont understand why people think that is ok.
It would be like GGG going to 168, fight some guy on one leg to win the SMW Lineal Title, and then demanding Ward come down 160 and fight for that SMW belt.

Now you guys get your unified champ in GGG a sorts of belt collector if you will. You do realize that if the Cotto / Canelo fight lives up to it's hype a rematch will most likely happen in which case the belt will be handed over to your guy. And everyone will be a happy camper.
Just goes to show that the winner of Cotto/Canelo has more leverage at the end of the day. GGG needs that winner more than they need GGG. If GGG wants to fight the winner, he will have to make some concessions. Even Pacquiao could be an option for either of them that wins.

I am fine with that.
But is Canelo, or is Goldenboy.
Its them who have to watch GGG then go on and scoop up the last MW belt.
DO they want Canelo to have no belts.
Maybe it is pushed back.
Lastly, Canelo KO Cotto anyways.

Problem is, they don't. GGG wants the belts. He says he does not care if they vacate.
He is blowing up without fighting Canelo, if that boy wants none, so be it.
Have you noticed what they are saying about GGG on boxing sites, on ESPN, on Bleacher Report.
I truly believe that GGG does not need Canelo, but it will be the biggest fight very soon
