GGG will be like 173-175lbs on fn.

It sort of reminds me of how biased posters called on Floyd to be taking on fighters like Lara or GGG himself, because they wanted to see him lose so badly
I'm so sorry you fell for team GGG's hyperbole that they'd beat everyone 154-168 or whatever it was. You won't be so easily fooled next time, hopefully.
The word you are looking for is " bullshht "

But I agree, let GGG unify his division, then he can make the decision to move up. He's never going to outgrow 160 at his age, and will always be undersized at 168. I don't see the problem with him only wanting to fight at 168 for big money fights, like Froch in the UK, and previously Chavez. Other fighters do the same exact thing
My position is, beating Ward at 168 would be more lucrative in the long term.
It would immediately install Golovkin as the best fighter on the planet and would turn him into a PPV star a lot quicker than beating Froch or Chavez.
The only difference is, they are willing to fight Chavez because they know that they can beat him. It is about risk/reward..... you have referred to the reward, but completely forgotten about the risk.
They would be far better off fighting Ward, IF they could beat him.

But that " move up" excuse aint right.
Golovkin was not going to move up for Froch/Chavez.
He was willing to fight them at 168.

Floyd fought 154, but that doesn't mean he had to fight GGG.
Ward has fought above 168, so is not fighting Kovalev a duck?
Ward isn't big enough to make the demands anymore, that's the point. GGG has said, he will fight at 168 for big money fights. Otherwise, he will fight the biggest at 160.
Someone like Ward is the one who had to come to him. Its that simple.
