I actually belive that Wilder could very well beat Povetkin.

Povetkin had trouble with the bigger Klitshcko and was hurt many times (down 4x ?). Wilder could hurt him and stop him early if he can caught Povetkin (which is not that hard to do) with a big right hand.

I would like to see this fight. Would love to see Wilder pull it off.

Not to mention wilder is a fighter to be proud of and get behind even more so for americans i mean take some pride
These folks dislike Wilder because he's black, and Al Haymon is his adviser. Most of these folks ****'n on him are the same ones that jerk off watching GGG beat up cans.

That said, Wilder has really kinda disappointed in his last two fights. I drove down to Birmingham for the Molina fight to kinda support his "victory lap." But I couldn't support last night. There's other, better fighters out there. I know they were wanting Areola, and that kinda fell through. But personally, I think last night would have been perfect for him to fight the ultimate gateskeeper Tony Thompson. Last night reek'd if Wilder being a big draw in his home state. And them trying to milk this "title reign" for all they can. And I didn't even bother ro mention he looked like hammered dawg **** in both fights.

Wilder's opening title defenses are slightly reminiscent of Bowe vs Dokes and Ferguson, only diff is Bowe blasted out both those guys quick, and they were probably better than Wilder's two guys. You can sugar coat it and say Wilder eventually got the stoppage vs both, but we're talking about two fringe men who should be nowhere near a title fight. Only good thing I'll say about Wilder is he's served up two title fights when on both occasions the opponent was right in the fight, which is a big change from the Klitschko's over the past decade.

hitking ****** at it again, nothing to see here.

          Back to topic

It was a fun fight mostly because of Wilder's weaknesses, the slow jab from Duhaupas kept snapping Wilders head back every time he threw it. I actually think he has a good chance of beating Povetkin just because of his size, reach and his goob jab. He seems to have a decent chin and likes to mix it up, i think that Povetkin fight is 50/50 but he seriously needs to stop fighting these cans and not drag out the Povetkin fight much longer. He already said in the interview that time is on his side because Wlad is getting older and older.

He is right obviously but a real champ would say, hey i want to beat Wlad now when he is still somewhat in his prime and not when he is declined and on the way out of the sport.

I think if Wilder was not with Haymon he would have fought better competition by now and be better prepared for Povetkin and he would probably be a slight favourite.

Lets hope he is not fighting another bum before facing Povetkin.

That was the most action I've seen in a heavyweight title fight in years. It was highly entertaining but most importantly it was on network television. I tip my hat to both guys for putting up a good showing for the fans. It's fights like these that could help catapult boxing and especially the Heavyweight division back into the mainstream of sports.

Man, all this hate for Wilder. I thought the fight was ok... Wilder started off shaky but he finished strong. I bet if Duhaupas pulled off an upset last night no one would be saying he's a bum. I think Wilder can beat or be competitive against any heavyweight out there.

Please Povetkin is easier to hit than Duhaupas. Sasha will take a horrific beating trying to come inside of Wilder with those short arms. It will be tough to watch

Manny Pacquiao was wild and easy to hit (still is pretty hittable, and very open to right hands), and now he's one of the greatest fighters to ever lace up a pair of gloves. A guy like you would have wrote him off after he lost to Morales, or maybe even before that.

I've clearly said that Wilder is a work in progress, and the point of my posts is to note that instead of continuously pointing out his flaws without allowing him time to develop. I'm sorry your vagina got hurt because I possess simple logic and reasoning skills, and refuse to label a promising young fighter a lost cause. Stop acting like a ******ed casual fan.

Lastly, I have about 10 quadrillion points, and you don't have 10k. I don't want or need that little ass money you have.
Champions are there a for a reason....they don't take the say way outonce you become champion you don't pick 2 journeyman to safe guard your title.....you put up or shut up.....it's not an internment or college fund..when you become champion u don't ride the coat tails and pick one bum after another...there's an obligation to the history of the title and you fight the best...it seems to me...he's had 2 easy journeyman fights now....so now it's time to face a real heavyweight......I'm not talking silly points on boxing scene....I'm talking real money.....put your money where your mouth is and see who knows about.....I'll take Anthony Joshua for a thousand dollar bet with your great heavyweight hope....Western Union can work...come on big mouth back up your confidence in your fighter

If the Frenchman pulled off the upset it would only confirm what many of us already believe. And that is that Wilder isn't all that great of a fighter.
