Klistchko is the only heavyweight name that casual boxing fans might pick up, and non-casual fight fans may be able to mention maybe 6 other current fight names beyond Wilder.

Eric Molina was a top-25 heavyweight when he fought Wilder, with Duhuapas being rated in the top-40 heavyweights; just because you haven't heard of the name doesn't mean that the opponent brought in was supposed to be a bum.

Wilder now has Duhuapas, Molina, Stiverne, Malik Scott, Kelvin Price, Audley Harrison, and Siarhei Liakhovich(former world champion) as quality names on his resume. hate if you want

Wilder is a 7 year pro tonight and just recently reached world level. Instead of writing the guy off, give him some time to grow. That's the only point I'm trying to make. You don't know what Wilder's future holds. If it were up to guys like you, we would have written Klitschko off long ago like you're trying to do to Wilder now :/
im not writing wilder off at all. he has some promise but his management is totally screwing up his career. none of his title defenses prepare him for a combination puncher like povetkin let alone a big one punch guy like wladimir. theyre planting his demise. wilder would have a descent chance if he would fought the right opponents to help hone his skills but hes been giving nothing but soft touches and its not going to help him in the end

Duhaupas was ranked #34 at the time of fighting Wilder. Don't know about Molina.

Struggles with bums???? He might have lost 1 round against the Frenchman and had him on shaky legs on 3 separate occations, the fight could've been stopped during any one of those minute long sustained flurries. Look I know who that French guy was. He was suppose to lose, he was there to be hit the whole time, but don't say that Wilder struggled with him, cuz he didn't. Wilder had a welt on his eye, which could have happened to any fighter no matter who they fought.

Wilder isn't helping himself fighting these guys, but he pitched a shutout and got the KO. To me, that's far from "struggles with bums."

Very good fight. Wilder is improving each fight.

I can see Haymon paying Povetkin some step aside money to allow Wilder some voluntary defences.

Dahaupas deserves an Immense amount of respect for hanging In there and giving a game effort. He took some hellish shots that would have had a lot of other fighters out of there long before Dahaupas was. Wilder has a lot going for him but he also has a long way to go.

The WBC champion was getting out-jabbed by some Frenchman no one ever heard of, unbelievable.

It was a good thing he found the worst possible opponent he could dig up. And the guy busted his face in and was backing him up with a snail pace pressure.

If Duhaupas had any punch Wilder would of lost.

Was Stiverne just that bad? Wilder was fairly flawless that night. It looks like he has trouble focusing in Alabama.
