The boxing heavyweight champion was always looked at as the baddest man on the planet. From John L Sullivan up to guys like Dempsey, Marciano, Liston, Foreman, Ali, Tyson, Lennox, ect. Those were the guys who the general public believed, in their time as champions, would whip any man alive in a fight.

No longer the case. The UFC champion is now the baddest man on the planet. The general public knows that the UFC champion would kick the boxing champ in the head, or choke them unconscious in a matter of seconds. A pro boxer is helpless in a real fight against a skilled MMA fighter.

MMA has been bigger and better then boxing for years. Wake up people. Look at the numbers. Boxing is dying. That is a fact. I wish I could say otherwise.

Plus the ufc makes all the big fights as where in boxing guys like Manny duck Floyd for 10 years and everybody ducking GGG.

I was a boxing fan before a MMA fan but recently I agree with you I like MMA more. There's no bs excuses the best fight the best. In the US boxing is dying no one cares about it anymore. There was only hype for Mayweather vs Pacquiao after that no one cares. The one guy that can keep boxing relevant is Canelo, he's very popular among Hispanic's and has a decent style to watch to appeal to the casuals.

Yes it does dip****. UFC draws more PPV buys than boxing. You cant point to the money a fighter makes since UFC was smart enough not to let the fighters get the lions share of the money.
