But of course, the diva Ward will want everything under his thumb.. hometown, judges, etc

While I agree 50-50 is a sound agreement between the two sides (at 168), I think it's going to be harder and harder to stick to that. If that PPV does well and the fact MSG is practically sold out and GGG is doing much higher tickets sales than Ward now on the West Coast, it's going to be very hard to do a 50-50 as time goes on and it's going to be a hard argument for Ward to demand more.
The facts are the facts, Ward is his own worst enemy. He refused to travel for practically his entire career, forcing opponents to come to his side of the fence and that hurt his marketability. During the legal battle with Goossen, he could have fought but his ego and stubbornness made him sit out from November 2013 until June 20 2015. Goossen won three legal cars brought on by Ward, who continued to look for ways out. He obviously had NO CASE since Roc Nation had to jump in and save him, by "buying" out his contract. Think about it, if RNS had not saved the day then Ward would have still been sitting out. And while he sat out, HBO shifted their marketing to Golovkin and made him into a blooming star.
In my mind there is no question Ward is better and I think he would win if they fought, but because of his own demons his claim of being the A-side in this equation is slipping away. And if that PPV does well he will certainly lose that A-side claim.

50/50? Lol team Ward must think they're applying for welfare and food stamps. There's absolutely nothing that justifies getting more than 25% if he faces a real star like GGG. Clearly Jay Z just hopes to cash out the worst deal in history and break even knowing Ward has virtually no chance to win. They're trying to sell Wards meaningless 0 for a payday lol

GGG is very popular as well but has lacked the oppenents to Launch him into superstardom imo... Little G's future as a star is banking on the results from this PPV imo... But cmon, i've said it b4 GGG vs Ward is a PPV fight, and if Canelo/Cotto winner doesnt come to the table for a little G fight, Ward is the only Viable PPV option imo.
