Money talks, if the fight was to happen now before GGG fights Lemieux, it should be 50-50 maybe 55-45 in favor of Ward, however after the fight GGG will have had his first PPV fight and he would be a bigger attraction than the inactive Ward, and if the fight was to happen early next year the split should be 55-45 in favor of GGG even though Ward is a far more proven/accomplished fighter.

HBO made a very good job hyping GGG up, however Ward should accept the split because on the bright side this shouldn't be a risky fight for him at 168 and his popularity will boost if he beats on GGG like he should.

40% for Ward plus Ward has to tie one hand behind his back...

Another Wardiot getting caught. They just love to slip lie or two in their conversation. Like the one GGG that called anyone 154-175...
Or the one that GGG is calling Ward all the time - and the reality is he called Ward 3 years ago and Ward said no. After that he stopped mentioning Ward name and Ward is the one who is trying to rebuild his name over GGG popularity in recent times.

Oh and Canelo fights at jr mw guess he's serious about fighting anyone from 154-168 except Ward for him he needs a catchweight. Now that's truly Pathetic !

But still even with those fights his resume still won't be better than Ward's

And who cares when that link was ,he said it why not prove it he was ready for Chavez jr and Froch at 168 but when it comes to Ward he thinks he's an A side gtfo!!
Canelo and GGG are the same size on fight night. GGG is actually fighting guys at 160.
If Cotto is too small for GGG, then he's too small for Canelo too.

Just like Loeffler knows Golovkin will loose to Ward, Oscar knows Canelo doesn't have a shot against Golovkin at this point in his career and will protect him just like K2 is protecting their golden goose 3G... I see Canelo relinquishing the WBC middleweight belt and returning to the JR middleweight division.
Ward is fighting tune up #2 on the Cotto v Canelo undercard...maybe.
Ward is fighting tune ups until mid 2016 because he chose 19 months of inactivity(didn't stop him from talking though)
GGG is headlining a PPV and unifying his division.
When GGG made his U.S. debut in Sept 2012, Kellerman asked him if he would fight Andre Ward(wonder why he didn't ask about Martinez? lol).
GGG said yes. Ward fought the LHW champ at SMW next, went inactive and fought a year later( vs Edwin Rodriguez(reluctantly) then chose more inactivity
GGG has been fighting 3 or 4 times/year since then.
One guy has been fighting and Ward hasn't.
