Why do you only want to see 1 of the 2 fights?

staying silent for months then offering to fight ggg after he signed to fight someone else is clearly wanting the fight? sounds like a publicity stunt to me.

Andre Ward vs Gennady Golovkin is BETTER than Mayweather Pacquiao. Yeah I said it. May/Pac was casual fan, media BS hype. If you study the style clash, you would realize that Floyd was all wrong for Pac from day one. Pac doesn't even commit to his jab. Rule #1 in solving the May Vinci code is to posses a strong, accurate jab.


Ward vs GGG on the other hand? Is the best matchup between p4p fighters since Chavez vs Whitaker. It doesn't get better than this. It's the best fight that can be made in boxing right now.

Since that is the case, why are people so against this? Do you not want to see the best fighters in the world battle for the #1 spot?

Golovkin fans want only Ward-Kovalev and they'll sit crossing their fingers and clenching their arse cheeks in hope that Kovalev wins so GGG is safe

That's what makes this funny. I would love to see both Ward-Golovkin and Ward-Kovalev. But there are people here who will say up front they don't want to see Ward-Golovkin which is comical. The reasons for that are pathetic too.

i'm a GGG fan but dont lump me in with that crowd...i'd gladly pay to watch a fight with Ward at 168...that would be a great scrap

I'm studying this species of boxing fans that don't want to see the best fights. This new species is fascinating to me and I want to continue to study their thought process and learn more about their behaviors. Keep providing responses so I can add more material to my journal.

I could care less if these 2 fight. They most likely will want it on ppv. I at least want a little hype behind this. Would be nice if one would get a fight or two at the others weight class and build up some hype or if Ward would fight a couple more meaningful bought to demand it. So far I sense a certain bitterness. This new species of fans link Ward to Floyd for some reason. Is it that they fear Ward becoming the new face of the sport so they want to prevent him from taking on the best opposition? Maybe they fear Ward will become the new Floyd and they will have to suffer another decade of a skilled, intelligent, defensively responsible fighter running the sport.
