i can pick out of a lineup the fans who were gung ho on one side or the other. they are not rational, and they'll probably never again earn my respect. they'd have to put in a long tenure of solid posting for me to forgive 6 years of childishness.

No. He should not and conveniently let the NSAC know about it after the fight. Nothing on the pre-fight form, nothing before the fight.

Like Hauser said, Manny wanted to put a "legal substance" but was not allowed once NSAC knew about it due to the time frame of when they received knowledge of the injury. Yet for a "prohibited substance" you say that NSAC does not need to know about it until days later?

That is news to NSAC as well but since its Floyd, its all good, right?

This smells like Lance Armstrong's doctor's note being retroactively given and approved as genuine.

“He cannot have it done at his house and [USADA] can’t authorize it.... I have specifically articulated and memorialized to USADA that [NSAC] is the sole authority that can authorize a the****utic-use exemption for a fighter in the state of Nevada,” Bennett said. “USADA never told us prior to the IV that they had their own TUE, and they never kept us informed about it being administered.

“If they think they can do what they want, where and whenever they want in the state of Nevada, they are grossly mistaken.”

Not necessarily. You do not have to like any individual boxer to be a rational fan. Liking or loving the sport is not about which fighters you like, but how much of the sport you watch outside of those you like.

this is the rhetoric if deflection. you recognize that there's an issue [floyd's IV use, and the shady manner in which it was deemed acceptable by USADA and eventually the NSAC,] and still try and minimize it.

most of the major news outlets [washington post, NY times, etc] covered floyd's IV use / retroactive theraputic use exemption. they aren't going to cover a story about boxing for several months.

And thats the thing. This info has been out there since May 22 iirc. Might be off a day. NO ONE impartial gave a **** about it then. There is a thread here from that news breaking that only guys with anti-Floyd sigs almost across the board even suggest is bad. Than several months later a known anti-Floyd sports writer covers this same news & pretty much the same guys with those same anti-Floyd sigs act like its somehow a bigger crime than back in May. And no one else gives a f#ck.

any impartial fan of the sport recognizes these things:

floyd's PED use cannot be proven, given the facts.

floyd claims to walk around at 150 lbs during most of training camp.

the best method for rehydrating a moderately dehydrated athlete is to give him water and electrolytes.

we can deem his behavior involving his IV use highly su****ious. his treatment is similar to the methods used by lance armstrong to mask his PED use. you don't give 750 ML of saline to a moderately dehydrated athlete. you hand him a glass of water, or a pedialite, or some gatorade mixed with water, or all three.

I'm more impartial than you think. I agree with 2 outta your 3 impartial fan comments. I just don't make a jump to highly su****ious from those 2 things.

And does anyone have the blow by blow of the events that day to say that Floyd was x level of dehydrated or that he was giving some gatorade before all this went down? I haven't seen much beyond speculation by anyone besides known Floyd haters from what went down that day. I haven't seen the medical professionals diagnosis of Floyd, his symptoms, how he decided an IV would be the best step or anything along those lines. That seems to me to be the bare minimum one would need to go very far with this "just drink some water f@ggot" angle to curing dehydration as people seem to love to suggest.

The biggest problem here is the speculation people are suggesting are facts or most likely facts always go to the best possible outcome for those people that are DYING to discredit Floyd.

The reality is maybe Floyd did some highly f#cked up **** here & has all sorts of people in his pocket in highly respected positions, but right now with the things known that makes 0% logically sense based on the things we do know....unless of course you are wishing beyond wishing Floyd's whole career can be questioned in a way similar to Antonio Margarito's after his handwrap scandal as some of Floyd's haters have been trying to do for years.

any unbiased boxing fan will be su****ious of the end of floyd mayweather's career. we can't prove anything, but we have hte right to deem his behavior, which is highly su****ious under any unbiased scrutiny, as highly su****ious.

At this point in science & sport I think an unbiased fan could reasonably be su****ious of anyone who reached a high level in sports (or even anyone period).
