Look at this armchair doctor providing his "expert" opinion.

Here's a clinical study done on the effectiveness of oral rehydration versus intravenous.

    Why Oral Rehydration is Better

These results demonstrate no discernable advantage for IV compared to oral rehydration. The data also suggest that oral fluid replacement may provide a performance advantage, reduce the subjective perception of thirst and make exercise feel easier (lower RPE). Additional research is needed to further characterize these differences.

Perhaps the greatest advantage of an effective oral rehydration protocol is that it encourages athletes to take an active role in rehydrating themselves, thus avoiding psychological dependence on intravenous fluids. Keeping the athlete responsible for his or her fluid replacement needs is the best approach to reduce the risks associated with dehydration.
Floyd could have drank several glasses of water, but instead he resorted to the same method of "rehydration" that Lance Armstrong used for masking PEDs.

Again, only a fool thinks fighters are throwing on 15+ lbs overnight, within 24 hours, through only oral hydration.

Apparently, the Paramedic felt the IV was acceptable and necessary, along with USADA. And the other funny thing is, 750 ml = roughly 3 lbs. But hey, good luck on that masking PED usage theory. Maybe you can get that Pacquiao loss reversed someday soon!

You're a fool for thinking fighters can't regain 15 lbs that was lost during a weight cut without the use of an IV.

Since we're throwing statistics around, 750 ml = roughly 16 percent of the water present in the bloodstream, and is the maximum amount of fluid that can be safely stored in the bladder. But hey, good luck trying to lift the image of Floyd being perceived as a cheater by the vast majority.

Yeah, they are really going to do that much quantity of weight in less than 24 hours!

No need to lift the image because you, nor anyone else, has found evidence proving for a fact that he 'cheated' or was using PEDs. In fact, the only reason you even know about the IV is because of USADA telling you.

It's called "weight cutting" for a reason. The fighters aren't gaining an extra 15 lbs, they're regaining weight that was lost from depriving their bodies of food and liquid. You don't seem to understand the science behind weight cutting, I suggest you educate yourself to avoid looking like an even bigger fool.

Floyd has been in sport for MANY years. He's a professional boxer. Him and his team can't tell us now that they didn't know that a dehydration could be so severe.....that it was an "emergency"....that Floyd never trained so hard in his life....that they never thought people would start asking questions etc
              Please...
There are red flags everywhere and questions are still not answered. Stop praising him and start using your brain for once.

Yes, it's called weight cutting. And yes, they are gaining an extra 15 lbs overnight! Adding that weight is not easy to do in less than 24 hours. And the fighter needs to feel good on top of that to perform well. These simple things you can't seem to grasp. I'm just waiting for you to post another link that owns yourself again.

I bet you even think the entire process is healthy!

You seem adamant in thinking that it's physically impossible to regain 10-15 lbs that was lost during a weight cut without the use of an IV. In that case, you truly are a fool. Once again, the only person owning himself is the guy who's naive enough to believe that a serial domestic violence offender is above cheating.

If you think professional fighters are doing this overnight, 15 lbs and whatnot, just orally. It's only you who is the fool. UFC fighters also commonly do IV. But fools think otherwise.

Good luck on using domestic violence as evidence of PED usage! You're really going to get the big bad Mayweather with that one!

You are one very naive individual. Be honest with yourself, is this the look of a man who's above cheating?
