NSAC is implementing a BAN on IV use for rehydration this coming October.

It's NSAC issuing the ban on IV use, and yes, the ban will be for UFC fighters.

And yes, some fighters are very unhappy. And the fighters who are unhappy with the ban, are the juicers and the competitors who use IV rehydration for the sole purpose of gaining a weight advantage. The types of fighters who don't believe in competing on a level playing field.

But, there are also some fighters who agree with the ban.

It may not be boxing, but because UFC is a combat sport with weight classes, I do believe this development holds merit in this discussion and sheds some light on why people may have a problem or call foul play on Mayweather's part for using the IV.

I believe it was USADA's plan to implement the IV ban policy. Regardless, they're just going to issue "retroactive TUEs" for any high profile athlete who gets caught cheating.

The reason for it is because the UFC is having USADA do random drug testing on all their fighters.

But on second thought, it's really hard to say. Because the UFC seems to have staff that are very much against it as well. And that could be the reason for it more than anything else.
