I am very well aware that stating that Oscar is higher than Floyd all time is an unpopular, minority opinion.
And yes, I hold that opinion. Because you're a delusional DLH fan
If Floyd had fought the most dangerous fighters, when they were at their best, there is a pretty fair chance he would have got his face jabbed in a couple times too. Your opinion, which has already been established as biased in favor of Fishnets/against Mayweather. Anyway, Floyd is a much superior defensive fighter *and overall boxer* than DLH has ever been. And exactly WHO would those "most dangerous fighters... at their best" be?
Floyd has been carefully matched, his whole post-Castillo career. Opinion, yet again.
He had a terrific run at 130. Indeed.
Oscar fought a better run of opposition, and he beat most of them. He took some losses, that's because he took risks.
Better NAMES at the right times, you mean. Chavez X2 - Shot, Whitaker - looked completely shot in PREVIOUS fight, Ike - fought him after a 15 or 16 month layoff, yet got controlled with the jab for the majority of the fight, Tito - full credit for taking the fight, yet fan like a fairy for the last third of it, Mosley - full credit for taking the fight, but got outboxed and outfought comprehensively, Vargas - stopped a Vargas that took career-altering punishment against Tito, to the point where he got rocked against a former sparring partner, Mosley2 - only took place AFTER Vernon Forrest beat him twice and Shane looked vulnerable after moving up in weight, Sturm - got blatantly robbed to set up B-Hop fight, Hopkins - DLH ****ing the canvas after taking a soft bodyshot, to prevent the incoming beating for the last few rounds, Mayorga - post Tito beating, Floyd - beat DLH at least 8-4, and DLH's attempt to cherrypick the smaller Pacman ended up disastrously for him. Stop trying to spin ****.
Oscar won his first title at 130, just like Floyd, and fought up to middleweight, and challenged Hopkins, who is a better fighter than Floyd has ever faced.
Oscar is 5'10 or 5'11 with a much larger frame than Mayweather. DLH was weaker than your "logic" at 160lbs and was only chasing the money that a Hopkins mega-fight brought. It was win-win for him. If he managed to pull off the upset, he'd actually be worthy of the praise his delusional fans heap upon him. If he lost, he lost to a master boxer AND the bigger man. Floyd is 38 and his skills have eroded to the point where jumping up TWO weight classes to fight the hardest puncher at the weight is ridiculous. But haters request it because a 20+ weight disadvantage against a naturally much larger man who happens to be a puncher is the most probable scenario that leads to a Floyd loss. Christ knows Pacquiao didn't have a chance to beat him.
Seriously keep it civil, man. You guys don't see me on here calling names.
You don't set the guidelines for how I type, but thanks anyway.
I like all fighters. But especially Fishnets.
I rate Oscar above Floyd. Why? I rate fighters on their resume, not on their perceived ability.
Why? Because you like his style more. You act like Floyd's resume is weak. Hernandez, Manfredy, Corrales, Castillo X2, Gatti, Judah, Baldomir, Fishnets himself, Hatton, Marquez, Mosley, Cotto, Canelo, Maidana X2 and Pacquiao. Only difference between their respective resumes is that Floyd actually beat everyone he ever fought, whether it be against a belt holder, top contender, champion, or future hall of famer. DLH should have more official losses on his record than currently exists.
Floyd has a very good resume. Oscar has a better one, in my view.
In your biased opinion.
And I don't care about losses. This is part of Mayweather's fraud.
It fits your pro-DLH agenda to "not care about losses". But in reality, they do count, whether you like it or not.
If you take risks you are liable to take losses.
A loss is just a loss.
Again, refer to my last comment.
