PS, you are quite the pretentious moron.
You need to stop skipping class buddy, if it comes off as pretentious it's because you are too close minded to admit defeat while I am confident in victory.

I wouldn't have engaged your post if you actually posted intelligently and didn't pass absolute judgment based on your opinion. I wouldn't have called you a moron if you weren't one. Take notes and stop skipping class.

That's a metaphor if you didn't catch it.

You used your personal opinion of what defines a great fighter to post your opinion of Mayweather. You then passed this off as the viewpoint of "every serious boxing fan"....Once again subjective and down right wrong (and btw using the word EVERY when talking about opinions is a really bad use of the English language)

You said the Hagler/Leonard fight was a good example of the best fighting the best at their absolute best. This is hypocrisy as Leonard is on record saying he waited till he knew he could beat Hagler and this fight was also several years in the making very much like Pac/Mayweather. You tried to use your personal opinion to say Manny wasn't competitive and to discredit the win yet all pundits and Vegas disagreed with you before the fight. Once again proving yourself wrong.

You said Mayweather hasn't fought an intriguing matchup since JLC. Vegas and boxing pundits once again disagree with you. In reality his fights against Pacman and Canelo were billed and thought to be closer fights before they happened. Most people actually thought JLC would be an easier fight for Mayweather then it ended up being. This would make those fights intriguing in any objective persons eyes. Once again you are wrong.

        What have you actually said?
Btw Virgil Caine just in case you missed it, here are your cliff notes.

Metaphor and analogy game so on point lmaoooooo.

Wait a minute. You mean a guy who built himself into the sports greatest money-maker by adopting a ****-talking, arrogant persona, going so far as to nickname himself "Money" later on in his career, should be held to everything he said? That's what he DOES. Talk **** with impunity. Claiming he "needs" to fight GGG at 160 only makes sense to haters who'll use it to "prove" Mayweather isn't as great as he actually is. Fact of the matter is, he's earned the right to say whatever he wants.

If Floyd fought GGG and lost (weight divisions exist for a reason), the illogical haters would claim he was "overrated" all along, despite being 39 years old (diminished reflexes, little power, being outweighed by 20+lbs) by the time the fight would actually happen.

Btw, Manny ("If he would've stood still, I could've thrown more punches", "I thought I won the fight", "I hurt my shoulder" *despite throwing his right hook till the end of the fight*) doesn't need to make arrogant statements as Floyd does. His fanbase does it for him, to a level seldom seen in boxing. Manny himself has cornered the market on delusional remarks instead.

            What an utter fkn toollbox.

Fcuk off Merchant and take that Lampley shhthead with you.
Exactly. Merchant is still bitter about that time that Floyd chewed him out in the ring.

There is nothing for Floyd to prove anymore so what's the use of him fighting past this point.

I rate Oscar higher all time.

That might be a minority opinion.

I've watched all of Oscar's fights, too.

Oscar fought everybody, at their prime, and he won the fights.

                He tested himself.

Oscar is higher than Floyd all time, in my opinion. Floyd is up there, as well.

Floyd can't hold a candle to Robinson.
@ the bold. You rate Fishnets higher for getting schooled by a cherry-picked old Sweat Pea, his face jabbed in by Quartey, running like a sissy from Tito, getting outfought by Mosley, knocking out Vargas (post Tito chin destruction), dissected against Sturm, quitting against B-hop, getting soundly out-boxed by Floyd and destroyed against the smaller (cherry-picked) Manny? Fact of the matter is, DLH "tested himself" when it was most financially viable to do so, or he had an advantage going into the fight.

You're entitled to your opinions, and I'm entitled to state that your particular opinions on this topic are delusional, idiotic, illogical, and just plain wrong, to the point that it's hard to imagine anything credible coming from the person who had them.

Its about a super talented boxer being tested.

Floyd is the elite. Untouchable at his weight. Thats the difference.
Its more about Floyd than it is about GGG. All the focus is on Floyd here.
Its not whether GGG can beat Floyd, its whether Floyd can beat GGG.
I would have no problem at all with a Mayweather fight at 154.

But Golovkin fans seem to see it differently.

According to them, GGG would beat Mayweather easy, as well as Ward.

Whereas, I say that Golovkin would not beat Mayweather at 154..... and Golovkin fans will likely say that your post applies much more accurately to Ward. Look, as I change Mayweathers name for Ward, and nothing else......

I think that Golovkin probably has a better chance of beating Ward at 68 than Mayweather at 54..... but I would give him very little chance at beating either tbh.

Pathetic. Floyd beats Pac, now its Rhonda Rousey and GGG who Floyd has to fight now. Give it up already! You guys are just gonna set urselves up for more heartbreak when Floyd shuts GGG out, 12-0. Floyd will no longer beat ur favorite fighters, you guys shud be crying tears of joy hes retiring.
