    Perhaps.....but.

In a "told you so" case. If Hatton just walks through Collazo like a hot knife through butter....you know people could be justified in bitching about him not fighting Augustus.

That's just something that goes with the damn territory. lol.

Collazo is better than people think, he has fast hands and can box.

I don't think it will happen to be honest and he will get away without fighting Floyd and none of his fans will think he avoided Floyd despite fighting Maussas and Collazos.

Hatton straight after the Maussa fight was talking about going after people like Cotto, Castillo, Corralles and then after that it seemed that he wanted Gatti and then Baldomir. Yet those fights didnt materialise and it seemed like every week they would say we'll announce who he's fighting very soon only to delay it again... and I think Collazo was a kind of last minute choice because they had run out of options. So the prospect of Hattons team negotiating a big fight like Mayweather doesnt really fill me with joy.

Also it looks like Mayweather wont be able to avoid a fight with Margarito for much longer and he also wants a big pay day against Oscar De La Hoya, which HBO would probably love.

I just think this is gonna be one of those fights that everyone wants to see but never happens due to something always being in the way. I would love to be wrong though.

Before you call someone an idiot, make sure you can spell.

And now that Floyd's rapidly moving up in weight and talking about taking on fighters at higher weight classes, it's ok for Hatton to take on Collazo? You're dumb as hell. Time is of the essence and fighting Collazo instead of Floyd shows that he has no interest in fighting a fighter that will go up in weight and soon.

Hatton doesn't need tune ups for floyd in the sense that he isn't ready physically to fight him, he wants to get acclimated to the U.S. and build a fan base. Hatton is no coward, believe that. Floyd is just running his big mouth talking **** as usual to make us believe that hatton is scared.

Honestly man I love both guys and I think Mayweather is the greatest fighter maybe of all time, but if anyone keeps the fight from happening, it's Mayweather. Hatton is coming over here to start fighting so you can't say it's his wanting the fight to be in Britain holding the fight back. You can't just assume it's Hatton's fault if they don't fight because you're American and don't like British fighters. If this fight does not happen, the blame lies with Mayweather, and that's just common sense.

Well remember Hatton was talking about fighting Floyd before the Gatti fight? He totally stopped that talk after seeing him live and instead fought Maussa and is fighting Collazo. Does that speak for itself or not?

just so you know Floyd signed to fight Mitchell before Hatton signed to fight Maussa

From interviews and quotes attributed to Hatton I think he wants to fight Floyd though... I'm just starting to doubt whether it will ever happen. Hatton wants tune ups before he fights him but by then Floyd will probably of moved on to Margarito or a big money fight with De La Hoya or even of moved up to 154 like he's talked of doing...and the fact that Hattons team seems to be ****ing things up for him doesnt really help matters.

As for Hatton's fans not thinking that he avoided Floyd, i think it goes both ways. If Mayweather fights De La Hoya then moves up to 154 without fighting Hatton will his fans say he was only fighting De La Hoya for the money and moved up to 154 to avoid fighting Hatton?

Im very dissappointed with hatton, when i first heard about hatton i was very excited. People were building him into a Chavez, or Castillo like fighter. Then i downloaded some fights and saw his fight against tszyu and that completely dissappointed me.

Too dirty eh? What's as much troubling as his cheating is that the refs have always been passive at warning and deducting points from Hatton.
