Floyd will always be NSB's most hated. Even while retired in 2025 there will be a "Comments Thread for Mayweather: I sold more PPVs than any fighter in history"

        Then you will see:

PAC-BOY: "You're a coward fraud, runner, hugger, clincher. Health comes first"

Spoon 23: **posts gifs of the 5 punches Pac landed**

Deevel: "All he cares about is PPVs. Back in the old days they didn't fight for money. Duran fought for cheese steak and a tube of toothpaste just so he can be the best.

Daggum: "He only sold that many PPVs because Kenny Bayless let him clinch, hug and cheat"

Rath: "Did he post the results of his random testing on PPV"

        Beercules: "Bidness doe"

Freedom: **Proceeds to make new thread called "Who would you rather watch on PPV, Gennady Golovkin or Floyd Mayweather"**

*Instert Mexican Poster* - "He has no fans. His opponents sold all those PPVs."

Kov seems like a piece of **** in his private life from many accounts. I could easily see him become a elite level hated boxer similar to Mayweather. Kov should turn full heel & his popularity (like Mayweather's) would explode off of the hate. Having said that I don't think some of these promoters, like Duva, can envision the possibilities beyond trying to make your fighter some poor imitation cardboard cutout of Ray Leonard or Oscar De La Hoya in their personas so thats not happening & Kov will never be mainstream popular while still being one of the more fun guys to watch fight.

How have you missed Amir Khan? He already challenges for that mantle.

I voted 'other' for Khan before I saw the Floyd will remain option.

I think in order for a fighter to be hated, success has to be a prerequisite. That's where Broner falls short. He already has two losses on his record, which isn't terrible but he's also put up some very uninspiring performances recently and I think people think that he's a clown and can't be taken seriously. He's going to have to go on a huge winning streak and capture some titles for people to start hating him again. Right now I think everyone is just laughing at him.

The two obvious choices are GGG and Ward. Both undefeated, both among the P4P fighters in the sport. It's funny because both fighters are very respectful and humble and you wouldn't expect them to be hated. But they're hated for other reasons. GGG has a lot of fans, but his detractors feel he's over hyped and hasn't been properly tested to warrant the type of push and hype he's getting from HBO and the media.

Both Ward and GGG will split the fans here. It'll be another Mayweather vs. Pacquiao situation, but not as big. Cause the Ward fans will go after GGG, GGG fans will go after Ward etc.
