the difference is WILDER and BRONER dont got as much support as they do hate!!!!

so sit down with that crap you phoney baloney!!!!!!!

Oh look, GGG was already on people's radar at another boxing forum's website 11 months ago, being rated as a top 10 P4P rated fighter. Guess what? GGG was a rising star before Pacquiao and Mayweather even announced their fight. I'm just assuming you're a closet racist and can't stand seeing a white/asian boxer highly recognized and appreciated.

Wilder received praised for beating Stiverne. Now he's gone and fought two bums in a row (or will fight two in a row), neither even a top 10 fighter. That's why he's been receiving criticism lately. His record is padded with bums, he fought a decent fighter, and now he's back to fighting bums. I don't hate on the guy. I hope for the best, because I would love to see a top American Heavyweight champion.

Remember when Danny Garcia fought GOD Salka? Every comment I'd see on his instagram page were people posting ****ing cherries (lol).

Unfortunately, I don't see him being the one, because with people like Anthony Joshua around, the future is starting to look bleak for him.

Broner? Seriously? I think we can conclude you're a moron for even bringing him up.

america don't like a confidence ****y black heavyweight!!!!!! remember Ali???? remember johnson???? remember louis?????
Yeah! That's exactly it! That's why every white American was found supporting the Klitschko brothers! Right on! Fight the racist power, man!

...or maybe, you're a ****ing idiot.

The thing with Floyd was he got hate from a number of circles-Manny fans, Pro Mexican crowd, Freedom/slimshandy/elroy1 crew. These groups are not going to hate GGG.

You really think the relatively few Floyd fans can drive NSB's opinion of GGG?

      That's a stretch.

edit: see this from Natas posted in another thread.

Silly thread title. Golovkin transcends all boxing fans, hombre. Mexican's, Americans, Euro's, Asian, Pac fans, Floyd fans and so on and so forth. He is the great unifier. The only people that dislike him are hardcore fans of other guys that are jealous and secretly love watching him fight.

I think a lot more of their attention will be placed on Golovkin when Floyd retires.

Then there is the fact not many Cotto fans like him.
C'mon chrismart you're a good poster. There are not that many Floyd fans on NSB and they surely will not drive how people judge GGG.

I voted Broner. The only reason I can think of to hate GGG is that he is a threat to some people's favorite fighters. He is a happy, friendly guy who doesn't trash talk or disrespect other boxers. He is a clean fighter. He fights more often than any other big name fighter. His fights couldn't get much more exciting with 20 straight KOs. He fights the best boxers who have the courage to fight him and there is no middleweight alive he would not gladly fight. Likewise, I see no reason to hate Lomo, Walters or Kovalev unless being a damn good fighter and kicking ass is a reason to hate these guys. I think Ward is a dirty fighter with an ugly style so I don't like him much but he has great skill. So far Wilder has been as big a cherry picker as possible while still holding on to his pretend world title. But Wilder doesn't trash talk so trash talking Broner gets my vote. Broner has no class outside the ring and fights dirty and holds like an octopus inside the ring.

First off I think Mayweather will be the most hated boxer beyond his active years. But the most hated active guy I'm thinking will be Ward (if he doesn't fight someone notable quick), Wilder (if he just keeps on the path hes on since winning his belt) or Cotto (if he beats Canelo & avoids GGG). Hating Broner these days seems like hating Alfredo Angulo he's fallen off so much.

It definitely would have been Broner but he's more of a laughing stock now.

              I really have no idea.

I don't think people hate Floyd, I think people hate that his career has been so blatantly hand picked.

People are frustrated that someone with Floyds talent, left us with blue balls, instead of proving his greatness against the best when they were relevant.

People are frustrated they got Hatton instead of Cotto... Ortiz instead of Pacquiao.

People are frustrated that every time people were asking him to face a legitimate threat in their prime, he would "retire".

Its incredibly frustrating, because he has the skills to be one of the best ever. He could have beaten a Prime Pacquiao, and a Prime undefeated Cotto. He could have cemented himself as one of the best fighters of all time.

Instead we watched as he carefully maneuvered his way around all those threats, and "retire" in order to let them fight each other and wait until they were slipping "Cotto" or entirely shot, "Pacquiao" to give them a shot.

I love him as a fighter, he is the sweet science at its best. I hate him for robbing us of great fights.

Who says I'm not still a big Manny fan? I like plenty of boxers that aren't in my avatar at the moment.

Also I was a GGG fan before May 2.

My guess would be Ward. 1st rule of being hated on is you have to be great. Ward is the best. By contrast, Khan and Broner are laughed at, but not hated.

Certain fans will accuse him of ducking both GGG and Kovalev at the same time. They will tell us that Ward should simultaneously drop down to fight GGG and move up to fight Kovalev.

Ward is the biggest threat to both so the fan bases will be after him.
