Someone mentioned that the same people moaning about a catchweight for Ward with GGG are saying the catchweight with Rigo and Lomachenko is acceptable.
Personally I'm all for catchweights If the opponent doesn't want it then fine shut the fuq up and don't mention the damn fight again.

GGG doesn't want to move up 168 to fight Ward, ffs. Isn't that what this whole discussion is about?

It's guys like you who need to stfu about it, not Golovkin.

        He's not saying anything.

It's Ward who keeps demanding GGG move up. He should stop talking about Gennady.

Its how he builds his name up though, sort of like Floyd talking about Pacman for six years only difference is I give Ward credit he would fight him at 168 but he wouldn't have the ball (doesn't want it enough) to move to 164/160 i.e. going down an entire division like Chad Dawson did to prove himself.

Ward is a good fighter but in terms of high rated P4P status, nah I don't think so he never deserved to be ranked at 2# P4P ever, he is a very helped fighter with everything he does he gets a lot of help many fighters who come over to the US are not treated the same way in my opinion he has essentially been spoon fed his entire career.

sanchez has brought up ward a few times and all ward keeps saying is if hes willing to move up to 168 for everyone but ward heshould also be willing to fight the best at 168 as well. besides this whole idea that all catch weights are created equal is ridiculous and when ople start comparing them its nothing but an agenda maker. i just dont get it tho ggg will avoid a loss i mean ward like the plague but y ggg fans dont want to see ggg ward makes absolutely no sense to me. i dont want to hear about floyd either that would be like kovalev challenging ggg at 168 im just tired of this whole every catch weight is the same when its not even close. chenko is way way way bigger then rigo the catch weight makes sense here a catch weight for ward ggg makes sense as well but 166 makes sense 164 not so much. i dont know just get tired of fan bases trying to bring up all this different catch weight debates as tho they are equal its honestly ridiculous.

Using Lomancheko vs Rigo as an example of Ward and Golovkin is flat out idiotic. If either Rigo or Lomancheko were one fight away from fighting to become lineal champion of their different divisions they wouldn't be entertaining the idea of fighting each other right now. Hell I can tell you right now if Ward was about to become lineal champ at 175 or 168 wouldn't nobody up here be saying go down or up and fight so and so. It's almost like Golovkin is the european version of Floyd Mayweather Jr now..just hated for no absolute obvious reason. If you have an issue with Golovkin it probably stems from Sanchez's opinions and statements..hence Sanchez is a spanish older man and Golovkin is young european white man. Two different people. Be mad at the right person for once.

Rigo asking for a catchweight is even more lame because the respective divisions are only 4lbs apart. I mean seriously, Loma could probably take a **** an hour before the weigh-in and cut 2lbs.

That said, Rigo has been very consistant about his desire not to fight at the featherweight limit. Again, I think its lame because at the lighter weights, the divisions ate only seperated by 3-4lbs. But that's his right. If he feels his body can't handle the 126 limit, that's on him. But for a guy that struggles to get fights. And struggles even more to get anyone to put him on TV. That stance is making it even tougher for him to make a living as a fighter.

The difference with GGG is simple. He's willing to move up and fight at the super middleweight limit. He's just not willing to move up and fight a guy that would beat his ass at the super middleweight limit. Again, its his prerogative. And fortunately for him, he has a fan base that will support anything he does. That said, don't get annoyed or upset who those of us who aren't drinking the GGG kool-aid call him on TV bull**** lile his stance on Ward.

Could've sworn Loma called him out and not vice versa. If Loma isn't willing to make the fight he should chill. The guy has all these demands after screaming for a Rigo fight.
