Once Carl Froch retired it pretty much meant the death of that division its got nobodies in it.

Lee has already lost to Chavez Jr, a smw fighter technically.
Cotto has shown 0 interest in GGG. If he loses his next one doesn't fight GGG and cancels the canelo fight for Golovkin for a while if he wins.
The Dirells are better than pretty much every name listed there as is Degale and maybe even Groves.
P4P jack probably beats everyone but Cotto that you listed.
Ward is Ward, better than the whole MW division and most divisions.
Still no excuses for GGG's hiding at a weight where most of its contenders that are accessible to him, have never been televised in the states nor done as much as an interview.

EL CHACAL!!!!!
Loma just take the 124, you've weighed in at 125 for your 5 fights already, 1 lb isn't going to kill you bruh, especially against a fighter who could easily make Bantam.
I'd pull for Rigo, but I feel like Loma's activity would give him the points win. I'm just a bigger fan of Rigo's style

Ward is a good fighter but in terms of high rated P4P status, nah I don't think so he never deserved to be ranked at 2# P4P ever, he is a very helped fighter with everything he does he gets a lot of help many fighters who come over to the US are not treated the same way in my opinion he has essentially been spoon fed his entire career.
Maybe I'm old school, but I base P4P off the best overall skillset, P4P. Not their marketing abilities, or if they can sell fights.
If Ward would market himself like Floyd he'd be able to sell tickets with his "boring" style. Ward hasn't weighed less than 166 since 2006! What makes you think he's going to go down to 164?
Also, who is the more accomplished fighter? GGG? C'mon man, as a fan you can't possibly feel like that.
If GGG retires today, is he 1st ballot? Nah......he ain't, not even a worthy resume for the Hall of Fame. He needs to build his legacy.
I'm all about Ward moving up to 175 to take the crown AGAIN, but this is a fight I would love to see. When you go back once they both retire, if GGG is able to beat Ward, that will be the most impressive victory on his resume.
Let's not get crazy, Ward is still imo undisputed at 168, and while the Dawson fight was at 168, Dawson ain't have to take it. I wouldn't have been mad if it was at a CW, but the fact remains he still beat the man who held the crown at 175.
What has Golovkin done? Floyd won a lineal 2 years into the game as a pro, GGG has been a pro since what? 2006? What has he accomplished at 160?

The facts are pretty simple. Ward would be at a disadvantage at 164. GGG would be the much smaller man at 168. Ward would be expected to beat the undersized Golovkin at 168. How you can duck a bigger guy when you have opportunities, and future ones, at your weight, is completely beyond me. You just want GGG to lose, exactly the same thing that the people who want Floyd to fight GGG do
GGG and team have come up with some bullcrap hype, which may or may not be true. Yet weird posters like you seem to hold this up religiously. It's called hype and marketability. It's to make money. Your favourite fighters would probably do the same in similar circumstances
Get a grip
When you say you will fight the second and third best fighter at 168. But tell the best fighter at 168, I will only fight you at 164.
That's not a duck to you?
I wanna see the best fight the best point blank period
Loma vs Rigo
ward vs Kovalev
Crawford vs pacquiao
All fights I wanna see that requires one fighter to move up a weight class.
GGG vs SOG is one of the best fights boxing has to offer and all I hear from fan boys is why it shouldn't happen.
Every fight I beat the drum for is a fight that is meaningful to a fighters legacy and his bank account.
Cotto/Canelo
Ward/ggg
Rigo/Loma
Ward/Kovalev
Brook/khan
Crawford/Pacquiao
GGG/Canelo v cotto winner
Wlad/wilder
These are all fights that are absolutely necessary.
No haymon, arum,Oscar beef preventing any of these fights and watch somebody give a reason why they shouldn't happen.
You are a fighter groupie not a fan of boxing.Last edited by bluebeam; 08-19-2015, 04:47 PM.
