I'd love to see him offer to fight Kovalev in Russia like GGG offered to go to the UK for Froch, how about you?

Nah. I prefer the fight be in the usa. Preferably vegas. Both fighters need the media exposure. Because in my opinion, the winner of ward vs Kovalev is the new p4p number 1.

But im not opposed to it happening asap.

But once ward goes up. The ggg fight is dead forever.

Even though Lomo & Rigo are only 4lbs apart, they're 10lbs apart on fight night.

Rigo & Gonzalez might be closer in size? In his last fight Roman rehydrated to 124lbs where Rigo came in at 128 vs Marroquin compared with Lomo at 138 vs Russell. Rigo vs Gonzalez at 118lbs?

By the same token, once ggg moves up, the Canelo fight is dead forever

4 pound to a 122 fighter is like 10 pound to a 160 fighter , in reverse 4 pound to 160 is like 1 pound to Rigo .

Not all CWs are the same !

facts, but the canelo fight isn't guaranteed to happen anytime soon. Oscar and canelo have both stated that they are in no rush to move up and let's say canelo rematches cotto in may or june. that's another year of golovkin fighting the Johnson's and lee's of the world while he waits.

ggg cant afford another year without an elite opponent. he will lose all momentum.

When guys like Martinez, GGG and Ward called out Floyd, they at least had the sense to challenge him at a weight he's actually competed at. Lomachenko, on the other hand, is refusing to compromise on the weight right on the heels of refusing to take a guy one pound above his current division is not a good look, IMO. I understand there will always be fighters in larger divisions calling out opponents from smaller ones, but the nature of this particular call-out is a bit hypocritical to me.

You all forget that you can't cut your weight without negatively affecting yout other physical abilities. It' s not just about "lose weight and become of your opponent size".
So why must Lomachenko give his opponent an advantage? I think we want to know, who is better - Rigo or Loma. Not Rigo and weight-drained Loma.
