The problem is right now Berto isn't even ranked in the top 10 by the ring.In the welterweight division the top 4 are Brook,Pacquiao,Khan and then Bradley. I think if either of them got the nod it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Floyd is the lineal champ one of them should get the shot.

Hey man I'm a mayweather fan and I agree it is disgusting. You're right if he's the best then somebody in the top 3 of the ring should get the nod even Bradley deserves a shot.

Yep, knew I was right. Granted it was a few days earlier than I thought.

Last month, Mayweather announced that he was going to fight either Berto or Karim Mayfield in what is being pushed as his "final career fight."

Fans lashed out, as Berto started becoming the frontrunner for the date. The fight appears to be leaning in the direction of a network television bout on CBS.

Last fight to fulfill a contract, doesn't owe anyone anything at this point, and won't get credit for facing anybody else. Makes sense to take an easy fight cash out, and leave the ring in the past. **** "the fans" they never liked him anyway might as well leave them bitter.
