Forget Berto, here's a more live opponent who Mayweather would undoubtedly be willing to fight. Stephen Hawkings.

    #Hawkings>Berto

Anybody can fight Berto, but Floyd can't Jeff Mayweather because Floyd claims he is the best ever. I'm a Floyd fan but I won't watch him fight Berto or Mayfield. I'll p*ss myself laughing if one of these clowns knocks Floyd out.

could he at least fight soto karass instead of his sloppy leftovers?

do people realize how destroyed berto is? not even the most over the top disgusting floyd worshipers should bother with this fight

Champions fight legitimate contenders, contenders fight other low level ranked contenders or up and comers. Berto isn't even any of those things now. That's why Jeff.

This is the 'Positively Guaranteed Easy Final Fight So I Don't Lose My 0' fight.

Actually, see above regarding waiting em out til they're sub-prime and/or too small. If he were fighting legit challenges, you'd hear no complaints from me and most boxing fans. But the thing is the guy isn't taking tough challenges in the past several years.
So Alvarez, Maidana, and Alvarez weren't hard challenges. They were all bigger and stronger then Floyd. Oh let me guess they were too green right?

Dislike the Berto fight as much as anyone, but to say FMJ hasn't taken on any tough challenges is a huge reach. I also love the alternate universe fans created where every boxer ages except for Floyd.

Also like the fact before the fight everybody says Floyd will lose and get knocked out. But after he wins all of a sudden the opponent is too old, small, and inexperienced. Funny how that always happens

No Jeff, not anyone. Pac couldn't pick Berto without me vomiting either.

i look at this fight kinda like Hopkins vs Murat.

people dont give half this criticism when other guys fight bums or has beens.. just look at ggg as a perfect example, his whole resume is utter trash yet hes a monster and boogeyman.. i can make the case berto has a stronger resume than ggg.

i blame this whole thing on thurman, khan and brook ducking each other for the past two years. had those guys fought each other, there would be a clear legit opponent floyd couldve picked.
Dam seems like just yesterday you were saying sorry to Pac fans for giving them **** about Algieri and Rios because a Berto fight was indefensible trash.

When you're considered the best of your era, you're going to be held to a higher standard Jeff. Fighting Berto, a guy who's lost 3 of his last 6 fights is not someone who Floyd should be closing the curtains against. He still has the ability to compete at the highest of levels and an opponent of Berto's caliber is not someone fight wants want to see Floyd out against unless you're one of the 6 cumchuggers here who have come out and said that they dont care who Floyd fights.
