Call it "lower quality boxing" all you want, you can't sit here, today, and earnestly predict who's going to win Shumenov-Flores, but you can confidently predict that Mohammedi doesn't make it past 8 rounds, at least from the look of things heading in. You add that the Haymon show is available on basic cable, and it makes the choice even easier.

If Haymon were to vanish from the face of the Earth today, I'd still be a boxing fan, looking for good fights and good fight cards to watch (the upcoming ShoBox quadruple header being one of those), catching every Andre Ward fight, full stop.

I wouldn't waste my time with another nothing fight by Kovalev, especially with a card that looks softer than the dud that Main Events laid out for Kovalev's last fight.

Would tune in for Cotto-Canelo and likely Klitschko-Fury, but the rest of the nonsense from HBO isn't worth my time.
You really loved that Paul Smith catch weight fight, didn't you?

Shumenov should beat Flores with ease, and Shumenov isn't anything more than average, on his best day. Kovalev would beat the crap out of both of these clowns, as well as the 50/50 winner of Ward/Smith.

Haymon owns your soul. He's not Floyd, he doesn't actually get in the ring, you know?
