degale and ramirez are fine, but are they really worth ditching his best division for? do they have any advantage over lee, quillin, n'dam and lemieux except their size? and, for what it's worth, i seriously doubt that hearn would be willing to throw degale in with triple g before the groves rematch anyway. hearn, like arum, is a habitual 'marinator'
    But the reality is:

Lee can't happen this year (mandatory with BJS at the end of the year)

Quillin is a bitch (Let it go, it's not happening)

Lemieux says he wants it but he's with GBP. He will probably hold out for Canelo

N'Dam already ducked GGG once so if he gets his title back whose to say he will fight him again.

Bob Arum said openly that he can make GGG/Ramirez in 2 days. Make it happen. Lara is calling him out. At least call his bluff and shut him up. There are better fights out there than Tureano Johnson and Heiland.

The point is he turned down working with Bob/TR, he wasn't afraid of GGG.

He can't! He has the MW title now so he's a MW.
And he is a b*tch that gets his ass kicked and then storms out of the ring like a crybaby. Nobody does it as well as Cotto does lol
Cotto just weighed 153 which means he can make the smaller weights... No point in talking to a moron any longer.

I'll put two and two together, unlike you.

If he was so adamant on fighting Golovkin like you seem to think he is, where are his words? Where are his challenges over twitter? He says and does nothing to show his interest, he doesn't want the fight. He's even telling Golovkin to move up and fight LHW's because he's so butthurt about his loss to Fonfara

The fact Fonfara shut his fat mouth was icing on the cake.
you are not putting 2 and 2 together, you are trying to fit his decision into the "GGG can't find quality opponents" agenda. That will not work.

I didn't say or imply he was adamant about fighting GGG, so why make it up?

The bottom line is what does GGG do when he doesn't get what he wants-does he seek out challenges (use your example of Chavez jr "calling out" GGG-does the same hold for GGG-does he have to call out) or keep fighting easy opponents.

If you are ok with the easy guys, so be it.

Don't avoid the question with a question. You would never accept "active" for certain fighters, why are you accepting it for GGG?

roman gonzalez, another undoubted p4p fighter, typically fights 1-2 quality opponents per year and 1-2 stay-busies. even donaire back in his pre-rigondeux, foty days was on the same schedule: 1-2 quality fights, 1-2 stay-busies. as long as a fighter takes on two quality opponents per year, i'm fine with their other fights being less exciting on paper. and i hold all fighters to this standard, including haymon's guys (my problem with the salka fight was that it was literally dangerous). the unfortunate fact that golovkin's quality opponents aren't quite as quality as gonzalez's and prime donaire's is partly down to bad luck and partly down to politics (i.e. being avoided).

Then why is he fighting at MW?

Are you guys so desperate you need to exaggerate what happened in the Chavez situation to justify GGG's lack of quality opposition?

So why did they say that Monroe jr is more known than Lara?

Cotto is his mandatory, holds the lineal and WBC Middleweight title and is fighting in his division. He's fair game.

He didn't call out Mayweather, if you notice he responds to people asking questions about Mayweather. He says it's his dream fight, how is that calling someone out you spastic? By the way, Canelo weighs in the same as Golovkin on fight night. Let that sink in.

Log off, you're dumb as fk.
Oh look a GGG fluffer. They've openly stated they'd move down to 154 to face Floyd and I'm the dumb one? Lmao.

Cotto is his mandatory and what's your point? He just said he's fighting Canelo next, the MW title has no bearing on how much money he makes. In fact, he has to lose money to defend it. So, as he stated if he has to fight GGG next he'll say "GGG can be handed a title, it fits his style." And Cotto goes on to fight Canelo for more money like every other boxer since eternity has done. That is boxing.

Is it honorable? No, but it's his 4th weightclass and he can make more money somewhere else in still a risky fight and a fight worth watching. Cotto loses to GGG and I don't care for mismatches, I like competition. Which is why I'm a fan of GGG who wants him to just shut up at fight some SMW's. I don't need your excuses of he won't, I heard them all. I don't care, the end. Until I hear GGG being a fight with someone who can make it a fight, he's dead to me.
