Wilder was BSing early on pulling the trigger on that right hand early when it was there to land and he let Molina in the fight. He also has to work on that stamina. He didn't even throw that many punches to be that tired.

He used the jab very well last night. Threw almost 31 per round while the average HW throws 19. Landed 30% while the average heavy lands 28%

Wilder got exposed bad by a half gassed blown up former cruiserweight lardy dude. This guy had no stamina if he had any stamina or desire to win he could have destroyed Wilder. Wilder couldn't hang with a legend, he is lucky he is in a weak era, imagine if he fought Joe Frazier who bobbed and weave and attacked the body and threw dangerous springing left hooks with all his weight and had stamina for days and desire to win at all costs?

Also Imagine Wilder vs a Prime Tyson? dude would be out cold.

Wilder has been so economical with his punches, he rarely throws combos and just keeps his arm out as a range finder.

Combos are for inside fighting. Why do that when you can just tool a guy w the jab all fight..

Wow, Wilder was terrible in every department last night. Molina didn't look like he belonged anywhere near a World title fight, but Wilder certainly didn't look like a World Champion.

Molina is 6-4 240 with heavy hands with only 2 losses going in He was knocked down four times and was taking massive bombs and was killed on the compubox and maybe won two rounds. What fight were you guys watching?

I think Wilder carried him a bit to give the fans their money's worth.

The view that it was mainly Stiverne's poor condition that made Wilder look so good looks a bit stronger after this Molina fight. Molina was the softest of soft first title defences so Wilder should really have stopped him earlier and not experienced some of those difficulties. Having said that this was probably the sort of learning fight Wilder should have had before he ever fought for a title.

The atmosphere in that arena was electric last night. Those people, very few of which were actual fight fans. Were genuinely excited and thought they were watching boxing at its highest level.

Which leads me to my point. Yes, Deontay looked like ****. Yes, he's a paper champ. And yes, he was tested by a guy that probably shouldn't have even been approved by the commission. But from what I saw last night, Deontay is very good for boxing, which is why I don't understand all the hate for him on this site. Yes, he's been protected and spoon fed. Yes, he was basically handed a belt. But, he's a big punching American heavyweight that's flawed, and makes exciting fights. Isn't that what everyone wants?
