Cotto is smart to take a voluntary and test the waters. He is trolling GGG at this point by looking more impressive against a common opponent.

Leftovers? So, is GGG going after a small/out of prime Cotto who just happens to be Manny's, Floyd's, Trout's and Plasterito's leftovers?

I thought "wars" meant a fighter was "shot" or "shopworn?" So, are you suggesting GGG is a warrior for going after a "shopworn" ex 140lb champ?

      Fck outta here rookie.

Yeah but he came in for both of those 154-155. Cotto isn't a MW like Mayweather isn't a 154. But the opprotunity to fight Sergio came so he capitalized and now because of that and his name he has negotiating powers over Canelo and GGG.

He didn't make excuses let's make that clear. He just said he wasn't 100%. All in all it was a sh** performance and my Aussie pride is shot to sh**. Sad.

All of you guys who accept catchweights.... give Cotto full credit and STFU.

Or, you could smarten up and realise that catchweights are completely unnecessary, and are now primarily used to compromise the opposition.

Not if you were 25lbs lighter yourself just 34 hours ealier.

I can feel your anger, so mad that Cotto who isn't a MW made just as easy work out of your mans 2nd best win. Which is just a footnote win in Cottos career.

I don't think the fight happens because of timing. but if it does best believe Cotto makes GGG drop a couple pounds simply because he can. If GGG said he'd go down to 154 for Floyd it'll probably be 156-157.
GGG is Cotto's mandatory, so Cotto can't make him drop an ounce. That's why Cotto is scared to fight him.
