I just said it didn't help. It happened regardless.

It doesn't matter what Cotto needed to do. Geale agreed to it and that's the end of it which was my only point.

Typical of a Golovkin fanatic to use a non sequitur to make yourself feel better about the fact that Geale is one of Golovkin's best opponents.

Hard to tell how much of a difference it would've made but as others have said its not like he's a particularly good fighter to begin with.

Yes, and Geale was getting his ass kicked anyway, regardless. The head butt is a non issue and Geale himself hasn't even used the excuse so why are you?

Cotto could've changed that fact last night if he had the balls.

Wouldnt that be crazy if the WBC stripped Cotto for weighing in BELOW the divisional limit?? Brings up an interesting spin on things seeing as the Middleweight division goes from154+ up to 160, and fighters face consequences for weighing over. And weighing below would bring up safety concerns...thoughts anybody?

Again it doesn't matter. Geale is not that good and never has been. Yet he is one of Golovkin's best opponents.

A catch weight doesn't change that fact.

What excuse? It happened, he got slammed in the head then hit with a left hook that put him down. It is what it is.
