Golovkin's team have shown a clear unwillingness to take that kind of risk.

exactly who are these haters who think Froch needs this damn fight lol. GGG is the one who is in need of a damn fight. Froch can retire right now and be good his legacy is sealed and stamped.

Froch doesn't need the fight it's whether he wants the fight. Not so long ago R.Mack was saying the Carl has two maybe three fights left in the tank and then the Ward situation cropped up where I think Carl could only see another loss coming and doesn't seem to think Degale is much to think about either.
I can see HBO putting up big bucks for this fight but I'm not convinced G. is big enough physically to handle Froch when most super middles have not.Bearing in mind G. can make light middle , I would like to see him tested against a big guy first , although this will most likely not happen if the fight gets the green light this will be set up asap.
Froch by mid fight stoppage as G .is v.good but takes some to give some, not good with Froch.

Yeah but that was a very cheap and easy fight for HBO. The purse was only $1.5m ($1m to Hopkins, $500k for Kovalev).

The issue here is if HBO can work out a way to get Froch the big payday he wants. It's a lot more tricky than Hopkins-Kovalev who both fight regularly on HBO and America/Canada (and again was a very cheap fight). This fight appears it would have to be in the UK, a daytime event for HBO which they never spend much money at all on.

Seems like they'll have to figure out a way for Froch to get all the UK revenue and GGG gets paid by HBO with some going to Froch. That's where Hearn needs to come in and work with HBO, rather than just wait for an offer. I don't think HBO will know how to sort all the UK revenue/PPV out.

The manager needs to get Golovkin into 1/2 hour of English classes every single day. maybe 1 hour, whatever it takes. I mean, the investment in time and money will repay a hundred fold when they then make a video which can be shown on Sky and HBO.
Something where Golovkin comes across a bit nastier. I'm thinking the transition of Mayweather here - pretty boy to Money. Lets have a transition from nice-guy-next-door to likeable monster - that should work.
"My name is Triple G in case you didn't know - I like Mexican style and I like giving you a show"
Start knockout highlight reel and menacing music.
" hEY YOU!! " (cut to GGG pointing out a glove in direction of camera" ... "Froch!! You ready to put on a show - lets go!!"
Golovkin doing fast hand show and more knockouts " - for added effect Big Ben chimes or similar for every knockout and numbers flashing up showing the last 20 kos in a row.
I can see it now - family sitting on couch - "Dad! Who is that guy? He looks mean!"

Jeez - it ain't that difficult to get some hype going and draw in the casual fans. And if that doesn't work for you - try something else. Make those managers earn their money.
                Lmfao haha! So funny! Kudos

You're full of it. You cant provide a shred of evidence of K2 or GGG turning down a legitimate offer. Ever. Period.

post an example of them turning down a legitimate offer or admit you dont know what you are talking about.

Imagine if they somehow could work out Froch V Golovkin at Wembley Stadium with Klitschko V Fury as co-main event. That surely would sell so much over Europe and the UK. I think it would gather a lot of PPV's in the US too as the two fights are two of the best fights that can be made in boxing!

It's because they renege the possibility out of hand. They showed no interest in making the Andre Ward fight a few years ago because of "financial sense". They said that Gennady would need it to be PPV and would need a "huge chunk" of the revenue.

If they'd simply yielded in a similar fashion to Kovalev and beat Ward, they'd have a PPV star on their hands already.

I guarantee they want some of the UK revenue against Froch otherwise they won't take the fight. They're not willing to do what Kovalev and Duva did.....which is fair enough, he has a bigger chance of losing to Froch or Ward and his team know that.
