Not sure how a Froch vs GGG PPV would do in America, 300,000 at absolute best? If it's PPV in the UK that could probably do well but not sure how the revenue split works, plus it it's HBO PPV it would have to be night time here morning there, I dunno.

I think the only way it works is regular HBO here in the daytime, PPV in the UK. No idea what kind of money that translates to.

I guess it boils down to how much money Froch is willing to fight for. If he wants a massive payday I don't think it's possible, if he can come down to regular Pre-Groves money then its doable.
      That won't happen.

Froch will take 100% of the UK PPV money for this fight to happen, guaranteed. Will probably take a fair cut of the HBO money also. I'd imagine Froch would expect to take home between $7-10million if he is to fight GGG. Anything less and he could fight you and get the same money.

Complete peanuts and exactly the reason why this fight hasn't already happened.

People are expecting Froch to fight GGG for less or the same for what he'd fight a Kessler, Ward or Degale for.

Does it make sense to fight an absolute beast in his prime for the same money as a less damaging fight ? No it doesn't. Not for the fighter.

the fight is a huge stadium filler in the UK ... not so much in the US ... it needs to be in the UK. If froch can bring in 8-10 million (I think he can as long as GGG conceeds enough) ... then he'll probably take the fight

There's 0% chance of Froch-Golovkin happening in the USA.

Yes... Hearn is joking -- HBO isn't competent to make an offer for a stadium fight in the UK... Hearn knows very well that he is the only competent party in successfully setting up such a fight... (In case he really wants to.)

not really..froch is happy for this fight bc it makes us and uk money...if it's just one he probably wont want it..he could make UK money with a less stellar opponent..think about it

It's too bad Andre Ward wasn't willing to come over to Britain, I mean he knows Froch is the money man the big draw yet instead he decided to fight a guy who has lost three times in a row in Paul Smith?
Least that is who I think he is fighting, it's indeed laughable.

What more so confuses me is how much of a real man GGG is in comparison to Ward, Golovkin is willing to fight anywhere and dare I say when/if he does stay at 168 he might just go to Oakland to fight the bore.

HBO about to kill another fight from being cheap. Just like they killed Stevenson/Kovalev
