Yes, but I just can't figure it out.
I mean, Haymon usually makes the most exciting and competitive matchups for his fighters - Wilder vs Molina, Stevenson vs Bika, Garcia vs Salka - all good, tough, fan pleasing fights.
Then he goes and matches Khan with Algieri? Beats me.

As good as Khans reseme is, of those guys, were any considered the best at the time Khan fought them? Barrera is the best name on there in terms of accomplishments and he was 10years removed from top level competition. How many prime fighters has Khan fought and how has he faired? I find it hard to believe Khans entire record is a sham but upon a closer look, it appears he has a padded reseme. Another thing, its hard to take Khantrrds serious as "boxing fans" when they say Khans the best.,.bcuz his opposition level is anything but.

I think Khan is an elite fighter offensively, his weakness is his chin paired with his own bravado.
It's a completely true statement that he is extremely talented and his style is probably the worst match up for Floyd to take. Floyd gets respect if he ends up fighting Khan, it's a legitimately tough fight for Floyd given how they match up.
Hopefully Khan can stop Algieri, I would think if Pac can have him all over the place the way he did then Khan should be able to stop him outright given his size and length. I expect Khan to look good but I don't trust Amir to not blow it somehow either.. He just seems unpredictable under the spotlight to me.
Khan is like the 2003/2004 version of Wladmir Klitchsko, we all know he's got the goods but then it's "WTF, how does this keep happening?" when it comes to his chin.

You dedicate your time on here to one boxer and we know its not for boxing reasons. I won't apologise for being annoyed that Amir Khan is acting like a b1tch. Sorry it upsets you.

That is something you can't let go of yet you're ok with Brook fighting Gavin and not Rios in May/June. I don't ask for an apology I just think its a bit sad that you sit on this site all day spouting the same crap on every Khan thread. I was merely asking a Q do you not get bored?

While I'm not defending Khan for the Algieri fight , his defense is not nearly as bad as made out to be here.
His problem isn't technical per se , it's mental.
He uses to get reckless and stay in trading range much longer than he should, ending up getting hit by '******' punches.
If what Virgil means is that Khan shouldn't get hit by those shots, then I agree.
