Manny was thought to be special-the one who could beat the Great Villian Floyd. He turned in apathetic performance, slightly better than Ghost, but not anywhere near as good as fighters he beat (cotto, Hatton, ODH) or fighters he was perceived to be superior to (Zab, chop chop, Castillo). Add to this his last few PPV 's have severely underperformed. Manny just isn't that big a deal after May 2nd.

If Bob wants to overpay Floyd for another win, I'm sure Floyd will gladly take it.

What is funny to me is for years Manny fans like you complained about Floyd "cherry-picking easy wins for big paydays". Yet now, you want him to do just that and make a rematch with Manny.

Everyone knows Floyd beat manny and this is embarrassing because it's not even yclose to a debate. It's at best 8-4 for manny. That's Floyd winning double the amount of rounds Pac did!

Find the light. Stop being a fanboy.
You know what the fight was actually pretty close. I think the reason Floyd won is because Manny did not fight his fight. He didn't come in on his toes and throwing many punches. Obviously, the ref and judges came in with their biases which gave Floyd the win. I think Floyd won - it was close - but it was Manny's fault for not fighting like Manny for whatever reason.

Floyd has enough money he wants to relax now and live normal without worrying about getting hit anymore you decide when to leave don't let the sport decide for you on the other hand pac needs money and will continue to fight and lose

          Who wants a rematch?

Who wants to watch #65 run around, hold and clinch, headlocks, low blows. He got beat clean, no need for a rematch and be given another payday. I don't think there's an appetite out there to watch #65 ever again.

He needs to support Haymon and PBC on his next fight.

So all those fans in the arena who cheered the winner and booed the loser are all mentally ill? I watched the fight and I know it wasn't an illusion when I heard the cheering for #48 and the booing at #65. Unless you heard something different when you were watching it. Obviously you need to convince yourself not to believe what you were hearing at the end of the fight.

And what about the rest of the world that thought it was a robbery? All mentally ill as well?

Manny may not even be able to sell in the US after the unmanly way he took a check for nothing. I'm sure the diehards like you will still watch, but not many others.

Those Hollywood guys signed on to what they thought was a winner. Now that they know he is a sore loser and not that good a fighter, I doubt they come back unless HBO pays them to show up.

Nothing you post will ever erase the sad performance from Manny. Floyd showed he was the far better fighter, Manny showed that most of his career was expertly staged and navigated by Bob.

We saw why Manny walked away in 2009. We saw why Bob delayed the fight as long as he could. They knew Manny would never beat Floyd, Bob just waited until the fight was most profitable for him.

Clearly one of Floyd's easiest fights and I mean easy. #48 was easy money.

Actually what we saw was the brilliant manhandling of a runner by a basically one armed fighter. Even #65's cornerman told him he was fighting scared. #65's father basically saw him losing the fight after the 4th round, told him to stop fighting scared.

#65's dad and uncle knows what was going on.

Track and Field and Dancing with the Stars easy. Yeah, we know the drill.

If Arum wants a rematch, do you know what split Mayweather is going to demand? That fight barely got made this time around, it's never going to be made a 2nd time, Mayweather will start negotiations asking for a 90-10 split, and he'd be right to, 10% of Mayweather-Pacquiao II is still more than Arum can get fighting anyone else. It would still be a $20 million payday, Pacquaio is never going to see that kind of money for a fight again.

There is zero doubt that Arum and Roach are going to fight Manny until he needs a wheelchair for his ring walk, I see 10 more fights in the next 5 years including against middle weights.
