Floyd needs to fight Khan. I can't remember the last time he fought a straight up boxer in their prime. Zab... that was the last time

I'm not saying that he necessarily can , but I still think he has the best chance to beat Floyd. I look at the fact that Floyd always turns high output guys tentative (like a deer in headlights) . It's very difficult for me to see Floyd doing this to Kahn because Kahn is kinda loco in the ring , meaning when he gets hit with good shots he doesn't shy away like Manny and the rest , instead he becomes more aggressive . When u consider how Floyd hasn't had a legitimate KO since Hatton in 2007 (no I don't count Ortiz) , how can he really win considering no one can beat or out point Kahn through 12 rounds . Plus , Kahn is too fast to see all of Kahns punches coming like most opponents .

What happens when Floyd times Kahn = probably not much just like the rest who get countered by Mayweather . Floyd was a big puncher at the lower weight classes but did not carry his power up to WW well .

Most people thought that Kahn/Alexander was a 50/50 fight . I was impressed how easily Kahn dominated Alexander . No one has ever dominated Alexander that thoroughly . Although Alexander isn't the hardest hitter , he's a good fast boxer who has a good chin .

Firstly , I'm a Floyd fan . But lets not pretend that he doesn't fool the public and cherry pick some bums as well ie Guerrero (who I don't think hit Floyd once upstairs) . Besides The new comers to the American scene like Thurman , Brook ect Kahn has fought pretty much everyone and would have probably fought Brook if he wasn't desparate to win the Mayweather sweepstakes . Once Mayweather retires he'll more than likely go right back targeting the best ie Thurman , Brook , DeGale and the rest . He simply made a calculated move to avoid Brook (at this time) because Brook is too dangerous to take when your trying to look viable enough to fight Mayweather !

remember after Floyd beat cotto in may 2012, he said he wanted too fight again in December and the rumored opponent was amir khan.

long story short Floyd went too jail for a couple of months, and khan got knocked out while Floyd was locked up.

the fight went down the drain.

then enters the ghost. who was just a stay busy fight. leading into canelo.

khan hasn't fought a live body in 3 years.

how many calculated moves is he gonna make?

if you fight enough cherry picks, you are eventually gonna lose too one and if that happens khan will never recover.

losing too a good fighter doesn't hurt ypur career as much as losing too a inferior fighter and that is what is gonna happen too khan soon enough if he doesn't step up his competiton.

Its 2015, khan cant live off of beating maidana and Judah 4 and 5 years ago.

Since I don't see Floyd Knocking out Kahn , I'd say its about a 50/50 or at least 40/60 (in Mayweathers favor) fight barring any cooking by the judges .

I felt like Alexander was a solid opponent for Kahn and that fight occurred within the last year or so . Lets not get anything misconstrued , I was very disappointed that khan avoided Brook and choose Algeri as everyone knows he's gonna pummel Algeri . But career wise Kahn resume is nothing to sneeze at . Lets not forget all the undefeated fighters Kahn gave their first loss to . Paul McCloskey was 22-0 , Dmitriy Salita was 30-0 , Molina was 17-0 , Breidis Prescott was 19-0 and although most of these were undefeated Brits , I can no longer marginalize British fighters as I watch Kell Brook come over here and beat Porter . While DeGale does the same to Dirrell who's always formittable . As far as him not fighting anyone viable lately , he was trying to fight Manny once he knew Floyd wasn't gonna happen but Manny wasn't gonna turn down 100mil to fight Kahn
