But that's FLOYD Vegas give him leeway to make his own rules. He never told the NSAC about his shoulder they looked the other way Castillo kicked Floyd's ass but Vegas/NSAC made sure he got a decision win. That was the difference. Castillo beat Floyd but was screwed . When you look at those 118-110 & 117-111 scorecards Pacquaio was going to get screwed too regardless It was a close fight Floyd ran like always knowing that if he was standing at the end he'd get a dec. as always. The crowd in Vegas showed what they thought of Mayweather though He went ballistic when they booed him & cheered Pacquaio

why would they care about floyd back then he was not a big draw and was not fight in vegas reguarly back then.

Yea, there's no real reason for them to deny a legal and approved substance. Doesn't make sense.

I still think the real story, the bombshell is, that Floyd tried to negotiate a contract with USADA that would allow him to suppress a positive test.

He has been accused of doing this before. Kinda proves that Floyd was on PEDs for this fight.

This is some serious bull**** & for it to be defended is fucking mind blowing. "Manny did you have an injury to your hands, shoulders, or elbows & tell the truth cause if not then this could be perjury?" Manny/Koncz, "no." You get no shot plain & simple. Why give a shot to a fighter that checked "no" to a question that asked "are you hurt"? You're not injured so why the shot? You said you were at your best, but then you lose & it's ouch my shoulder. Seems pretty cut & dry to me.


I'm not debating weather the injury is legit or not. He either lied to everyone prior to the fight about being 100% & getting the victory because of the work he was putting in (perjury), or he's lying right now to save face. Either way it's not good & hard to understand why anyone would want to stand in front of him & take shots (no pun). Then all this "but Floyd this & Floyd that". MANNY & his team screwed up. Floyd's name shouldn't even be mentioned in here. Oh yeah I forgot if Manny was to try to postpone then Floyd would just run away from damn near $200 million. That makes all the sense in the world, especially with the moniker like "Money" & saying stuff like "You ****in’ dummy; I’m a prizefighter.". Makes sense though.

I think it would have been very hard to cancel/postpone the fight. And if they weren't going to cancel it, then covering up the injury makes sense from the point of view of selling ppvs.

I agree with it being extremely difficult to postpone, but if you are going to use an injury as an excuse (not saying it's fake) then say you hurt it during the fight & go about a rematch that way. Then people/fans watching, or re-watching the fight have a little ground to stand on when attempting to defend him & his performance. Saying he wouldn't stand in front of you in the post fight interview & then coming out with the shoulder later on is not a very good look.

If the injury is real I definitely would prefer the fight to be put off until they felt he was ready. Like myself I'm sure everyone on this board, weather it be for Manny or Floyd would rather see these two cats 100% so that this issue can be put to bed permanently. All the arguing, debating & 2nd grade name calling throughout the years. To good to be true

What I want to know is Why wont the NSAC address the fact one of its commissioners RESIGNED immediately at the way the NSAC treated Pacquaio. He claimed to be disgusted & embarrassed with the commission.
I agree the fight should have been cancelled but just imagine the backlash at Pacquaio if he had pulled out?? It would have devastated Vegas. . Instead Pacquaio manned up & went ahead thinking he had done the right thing
Would people have sued Paquaio if he had pulled out?? Would PacquaIO have ever got another shot??
Just the same as Margarito & the CSAC the commission screwed upbut the fighter suffered. It breaks my heart to see boxing get so corrupt

Look at the backlash Pacquiao's getting now. His credibilty is crap, he's being sued, and may even face criminal charges, not to mention possible punishment from NASC! Things would be a lot better for him now if he had come clean. As for Vegas, it would have been fine. Though the fanatics seethe at this ^, it's just the truth. Canceling a fight this big was not an option. Sorry if it takes away the boasting rights that Mayweather devotees were dying for but the truth is unavoidable. These guys should try not putting so much emotional investment into a fighter they don't even know and things like this won't be so aggravating.

But here is the thing. The Dr's cleared Pacquiao to fight with no problems AND Pacquiao actually said he hurt his shoulder in the 3rd or 4th round meaning prior he was fine AND Arum said that Pacquiao had this injury since after De La Hoya AND Manny went on to beat Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley, Bradely, Rios, Algieri AND fought Marquez 2x's with this injury but yet after the fight with Mayweather it became a problem? Not to mention Arum just mentioned Manny was 100% going into the ring against Floyd. I wish you guys would just give this $#!t up already DAMN..... They lied! Why the hell are these articles continuing to come out? They check "no" on the sheet where it asked if he had a hurt shoulder. That's why this world is in trouble because people allow themselves to believe anything.
