learn your facts.
marquez biggest victory came 3 years after Floyd beat him. so what exactly is marquez's prime age bro?
marquez best wins all came above featherweight, he got better as he moved up, so save the featherweight excuse.
and the welterweight that marquez fought was a super featherweight at one point as well and only had 4 fights at 147 and was coming off of a 2 year layoff
the same way those lightweigts were bigger than marquez, those welterweights were bigger than Floyd.Last edited by bluebeam; 05-12-2015, 06:47 PM.

Floyd always trying to get every advantage he can. Shameful.he beat Marquez but he cheated doing it because he didn't bother to come in at the agreed catchweight.

It is what it is. You agreed with everything, floyd coming overweight at the expense of you getting 600k, you agreed with it, you agreed coming up drastically from lightweight to welterweight without any sort of tuneup looking like flabby baby out there, you agreed with it. Now it's coming back to haunt you, because all the money is finite, but your dignity is forever tarnished.
It's basically like, you sold your soul to the devil, and now you will be remembered in the annals of history forever as being toyed by floyd like a slave in that fight, and from time to time you will hear it everywhere, you don't want to hear it, you hate it, it angers you, boils you like hot magma everytime, but you don't have a choice, do you?LOL . How many millions did you get? Now tell me, was that worth it?

Mosley fought there before fighting De La Hoya.
And Pacquiao/De La Hoya was a joke. Just because the joke backfired doesn't mean it wasn't one.
so was Hopkins vs tarver a joke as well?
a career middleweight vs a career light heavyweight?

Not really worth crying over 5 years later but maybe this is just one of his mood swings from roid withdrawal or something.Originally posted by PacmanP4PLegend View PostKeep on believing that. Nothing worse than a sore a$$ loser, don't support bottle feeding of these elite top level boxers when they get paid to live like kings. There's robberies and then there's close fights (learn the difference and accept and you'll be okay). Marquez lost 2 of those 4 fights. With that said, yes it ****** that floyd came in over, but it is what it is and it's old news now. With a career that marquez has had it's impossible to not have at least a few demons to live with.
Mayweather did not come in overweight.
Two weeks before the fight he renegotiated the contract.
Originally, the penalty was $500k per pound, but the penalty wouild be paid to the commission, Marquez would get nothing.
Mayweather renegotiated the contract, saving himself 400k, the additional 600k going to Marquez.
It was a lame b1tch-move, but Mayweather did not miss weight.
KingTito knows whats up.....

Marquez admitted that the catchweight was requested to " diminish " Mayweather..... so, if the subject is " b1tch-moves ", then there were two " b1tch-moves " made during the buildup to that fight.
FACT: Catchweights are completely unnecessary in a legitimate fight.
Marquez was either not good enough, or too small..... even though JMM KTFO6 Pacquiao at welter.
