Floyd could of KO'd Pac, but you can tell he showed him mercy at the end. One more round and it would of been unavoidable, Pac would of gotten KO'd IMO

If injury is legit, then there should be a rematch but this time the amount raised will all go to charity. Manny Pacquiao said he would liked to do his last fight for free. Floyd Jr. also said he had some injuries during the May 2nd event preparation. The public would be very excited to see both fighters healthy.

I'm a fan of Manny but this is just complete and total BS... Why?
Because if he only had pain in the 3rd round, what happened in rounds one and two? Why the low punch rate? Everyone knew the formula for Manny to win would be lots of punches. Yet he threw only a few punches in rounds one and two. He was never going to win a sparring match in the middle of the ring. Manny looked old and slow. Yes he had flashes here and there but nothing sustained.

If there was a serious shoulder injury then they should have postponed the fight.
No debate. You don't take fans money if you know you can't compete properly.

Floyd had the same injury against Jose Luis Castillo in his prime.

Team Pacquiao should just accept the loss. God will deliver him to my hands, my ass.

This was such a huge event and you could have postponed it AND sure there would be backlash from the Flomos (dey just scared dey just scared they would say) but at least Pacquiao would have been 100% for the fight.

So manny thought he was up by so much that he took his foot off the gas....For the last TWO rounds.
He also thought it was wise to screw a hooker without a rubber....
He thought his foot/hand speed would be the difference...
He said he it didnt matter if floyd "ran" he was prepared for that...
He got his "killer instinct" back...

Perhaps if Manny were Muhammad Ali he could have postponed the fight (perhaps), but also perhaps not. That's the problem with this big of a fight (biggest financial fight ever): There is no stopping it for an injury of this sort (significant - but not an obvious injury that every fan or interested party could see and make allowances for).

Yeah. Then if Manny postponed, the fans crying about excuses now would have been crying how he scared doe then making up injuries to avoid the fight.

Floyd fought with some scratches on his hands though and he still fought like a warrior.

Floyd won clearly, but the fact of the matter is that a Pac fight is still the biggest fight for Floyd (and Manny) for his last fight. A rematch with Manny would end his career with the highest possible pay day.


Pac fought so ******, tbh. He bum rushed Floyd in straight lines all night and let Floyd dictate the pace all night. That was a terrible night for Roach, I have no idea what he was thinking. FLOYD neutralized Pac, of course, and played a major part in this..... but Roach/Pac made absolutely no adjustments, they fought as if they were fighting Rios.

There was absolutely no footwork from Pac, he threw combinations in spurts and there were far too little, and his approach to getting inside of Floyd's defense was lazy and sloppy. In a rematch I still pick Floyd, but there's NO way Pac could do any worse then he did Saturday night. Roach will have to work on Manny coming in at different angles and MAKE SURE that Pac throws far more combos then just doing it every other round or so.


Maybe it's Pacs age, or a terrible gameplan/night by Roach, or maybe it's the injury, and Floyd was better, Floyd IS better..... But the way they approached that fight was just awful and they basically minimized their (Pacs) chances of winning by fighting Floyd like he was a punching bag (Rios)
