Actually, several pac supporters do NOT think he performed badly, instead, they think he won SMDH. I would urge you not to be SILLY and assume pac 1)Had an injury and/or 2) The injury played as large a role as they are now making it out to be in the wake of a loss.
I think you are being ****** by taking one side of a NON STORY and running with it, how about you sit back, be quiet and let the facts come out before you wholeheartedly defend pac? Your bantor/rhetoric is pointless regardles sof the excuses being made, the result WILL NOT change - he lost.
You're an idiot, you don't really understand how to argue. Using other peoples biased views as a means to discredit mine is ******.
The evidence points towards Pacquaio having an injury you moron. Do you think the leaked reports of an injury 2-3 weeks before the fight all over twitter was just a coincidence? USADA allowed him to take the pain medicine injections during training too, but lemme guess, that never happened?
I said in my post we don't know how much it affected his performance, I never said it did or didn't play a major role, just that the majority of evidence points towards the logical conclusion of an injury.
If conclusive evidence of the injury and the seriousness of it comes out people will still act like "things don't happen" and that it played no role.
S*it happens.
Arum said Pacquiao's camp thought he would be allowed the anti-inflammatory shot because he had gotten them during training and they had been approved by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency. But he said paperwork filed with the commission didn't check the injury box, and the five Nevada commissioners decided in Pacquiao's dressing room that he would not be allowed to take it.
"The ruling made tonight affected the outcome of the fight," Arum said.
True, I think being faced with a loss in such an important match was too much for his ego. Or maybe he actually thought he won.. idk. I was a bit disappointed with that interview.
> He didn't even mention the shoulder himself until the post fight press conference(after being coached).
Circumstantial evidence to the rescue!
Internet defense attorney to the rescue. You can call it circumstantial evidence all you want, but it's a more than fair point. If his shoulder was actually hurt then why wasn't it noticeable during the fight an why didn't he mention immediately after the fight? It's an excuse that's why.
You know, even as a pac-tard, I can't help but look at that photo of Manny and think to myself that things are being exaggerated a bit but what would I know just seeing this now.
He didn't seem hurt during the fight. Was raising his arms after. Went to post fight presser and held it a bit. Now it's in a sling.
He was allowed to take the medication during training, just not during the fight.
Furthermore, there were reports among all boxing media members that reliable sources said Pacquaio had been injured during sparring and is taking time off training. You know this is a fact and it adds to the credibility of the injury being legit. You've also got his sparring partner backing up the claim, for whatever that is worth.
Postponing the biggest financial match in boxing history is ludicrious, it'd be moved to a worser date than the mexican holiday, thousands of people would lose out on money for booked accommodation, expenses and everything else involved. There is also the risk Mayweather cancels the fight, claiming Pacquaio 'never wanted the fight'.
Cancelling a fight of this magnitude is just not on the menu, otherwise I'm sure Floyd would have done the same with his injured hands, but the difference is he was and always has been able to take the numbing agent in his hands before his fights, so it makes no difference to him.
Pacquaio and his team were under the assumption they would be able to take the numbing shot they'd been using previously on the night of the fight, thus the immense pain the injury causes would be nullified during the fight. Instead, he was denied it, hurt it in round 4 again during his combination and the rest is history.
As a final point, I also believe Mayweather and his camp knew about the leaked injury, and that was the case for Mayweather intentionally clinching and pulling on his arm early on in the fight, which everyone can see.
I'd like to see a rematch, it makes financial sense and could set up a potential trilogy. He gave other fighters rematches, heck he gave Maidana one. Mayweather would be the heavy favorite, but is there anyone honestly more worthy of a rematch than Pacquaio? Let's not be ******, the fight makes sense, even if the fight was a dud and Pacquaio was delusional about thinking he won.
I haven't disputed the injury obviously he had an injury in camp.
I'm dis*****g the severity of it and also pointing out that fighters getting injuries in camp is normal. Like Floyd said, both of his arms and hands were hurt during camp aswell.

And there won't be a rematch nor should there be.
So what exactly is your decision that his injury isn't severe based on? Not all injuries are the same. Mayweather having hurt hands in the fight does not mean Manny's shoulder was good to go.
