"It is always darkest just before the break of dawn"
-- Thomas Fuller
May 3rd is the break of dawn.
All this Mayweather-Pacquiao yapping has to stop.
There are two sides here, one side tries to make sense, albeit in vein, while the other side resorts to name calling and uneducated chatter.
I doubt if congruence would ever be the order of the day, yet I find myself hopeful that come May 3rd, there will be a great sigh of relief from those of us who don't understand this level of idiocy.

Imagine if Bayless does what they want and let's them fight inside. "Bayless changed his reffing style to help Mayweather."
No matter what they'll find a problem, you just can't win with people like these.
It was not really Bayless breaking up clinches that fast was the concern of Pac fans about Bayless.
that concern/complain about Bayless breaking up clinches fast was for Maidana who works on the inside, meaning the actual cause of concern is/was that Bayless favors Floyd.
i already ask that question in another thread.
what if Bayless allows clinching on Pac's fight against Floyd.
then your post above is the answer i expected a floyd fan would give.
damn if you do and damn if you don't.
what you missed was if Bayless allow the clinching in Floyd vs Pac's fight
the damn if you do and damn if you don't does not exactly applies.
What it will be called - Bayless stopped Maidana from working inside by breaking clinches early
yet allows clinches against Pac who don't really work on the inside.
both scenario favors floyd thereby confirming Bayless is bias toward Floyd.
you get it now?

I initially thought it favored Floyd. But giving it a lil thought, I think it actually favors Pac. Pac isn't really an inside fighter. He darts in and out, or at least tries to. And from a strategy standpoint, Floyd is probably gonna wanna keep Pac at the end of his jab. And when Pac gets into punching range, tie him up and reset. I think Floyd will be responsible for 75%+ of the holding and wrestling in this one. So having a ref that doesn't allow it to linger will help Pac.

However, the argument you are making in this post does not hold water.
Here's why I say this:
You are basing this argument on an event that has not happened and you want to make it a fact.

That means Roach, Pac or Arum has no say and can't do anything with the choices of ref and judges?
