And if anything, I don't think Refs will matter anyway.

Pacquiao is not a brawler, type slugger.

He throws his combinations from a distance.
While Maidana tries to fight on the inside.
Floyd has to slow Pacquiao down.

He will try and control the range land the right hand then clinch. He Pacquiao gets too close he clinches and wait for a reset from Bayless

How many times do you think Floyd should be allowed to do this before he get a point taken away?

and when pac tries to throw combos against floyd you think he's just going to stand there and let him get off punches? no he's going to clinch. when floyd throws a lead what do you think he's going to do to prevent pac from coming back at him? clinch. of course bayless letting this happen will have an effect. this was the most important aspect of the fight and unfortunately the guy who doesn't follow the rules benefits from this selection.

Probably all night long to be honest.

He does seem to be stiff on Mayweathers elbows though. He is the only ref to thoroughly warn Floyd about the Elbows.

a warning? what good is that if he's never taken a point away? it's not like floyd stopped using his elbows so it was just hot air to appear impartial. actions are more important than words and we know his actions. protect lil floyd from punches!

My point is, I find it extremely hard to believe that Floyd will be able to smother and clinch Pacquiaos punches, due to the speed and power behidn them.

Maybe thats why I'm not making a big deal about it.

So me personally, I just don't see a ref having a big difference on this fight.

JUDGES now are another thing lol.

Has Weeks had any big fights since then?

You can see why Bayless was scared to take points of Floyd.
Man you sound silly because Weeks let Maidana do everything to Floyd except stab and shoot him. Stop acting like you care about what referree is in the ring. The only reason you are beefing is because its Mayweather.

I think Floyd should not be allowed to use right hands nor she he be allowed to move to the left while on his toes. He should be allowed to come forward only when throwing punches. Then the fight is fair.actually,Roach should referee too.
