It doesn't matter when was the last time as Cowboy stadium has a retractable roof.....16k is too small for this fight.
Exactly, that was about 50 years ago.

I don't think so. I think the problem is that there wont be "fight" fans there, there will be celebrities, athletes etc. who can afford the tickets. Had tickets been made available to the public, even at this cost, then I don't think it would be that bad.

That said, ALi Fazier 1 was the same kind of crowd and that fight atmosphere was intense.

You just don't do a fight like this in an arena, especially one the size of Cowboys Stadium.

I dont give a fuck who's in charge of the promotion, but let's put our bias aside her for once and just agree that this is a BULLSHIT TYPE OF PROMOTION. If you're a true boxing fan you will realize this is pathetic. This is the megafight of our generation for crying out loud. Some of you defending this as a logical thing are just pathetic and have no love for this sport at all. A fight this magnitude promoted worldwide and all over media outlet is nothing but a good thing for the sport of boxing, and some of you fools don't see it.

You have some valid points but why would either fighter want to spend so much time away from training to go around the world, especially in the age of social media?

This is what I mean. This fight it the absolute pinnacle of recent memory and the promotional push for it should be huge, not resting on the assurance that people already care about it. YES, we do all already care and want to see it, but that does not mean we should not get (at least SOME) the pre fight hype that the main stage usually gets. Like I said, even if all they did was one Face Off with Kellerman and that was it, we would all still lap it up and let the hype build it up bigger than it already is. I dont understand why they want none of that. Relying on select press conferences for the fight of the generation does not make sense to me.

I guess it is like Christmas morning, if you get given something that isn't wrapped and presented all nicely but it is still a sweet gift, you are not going to care coz you are happy with what you got...That is what it feels like they are leaving it down too: The fact we all know it is the gift we want, so who cares what it looks like while it is under the tree before we get it.
It might suck and take away that extra angle too it, but we still appreciate that get what we wanted, and I guess that is kinda true when it is all said and done.

Dude, I could care less what you think. Big fights used to be in stadiums ages ago. That is no longer the case. Now if you are a Canelo and want to have one fight at Azteca or the Rose Bowl, I get that. Not this fight.

Even arum's outdoor stadium was going to max out at 20k seats.

I think its a case of quality seats vs quantity of seats.

Is it because Floyd made us all I mean us all wait for so long and the moment he signed it, there's no more time left to do anything except train. he did not even gave us time to light a cigarette for pete sake

                      Off topic:

why do you think Floyd choose to announce the fight on that fatefull unsignificant day? what purpose does it served?
