And also tell your team to stop saying you'll murder everyone at from 154-168...unless they include *Disclaimer* "We won't fight Ward in our first fight and it has to be a catchweight"
A CW allows both Ward and Golovkin to go back to their respective weights afterwards and makes the bout more competitive. Win win. But sure, I'll tell "my" team to start saying "we'll beat any active fighter from 154 to 168." Hopefully that'll sooth both the Ward stans and the jingoistic Brits who had to cry themselves to sleep last night.

Golovkin hasn't even proven himself in the division as much as Ward has in his also. I don't see them criticizing Hopkins/Hagler for staying at the weight for years.

Ward stans have to spend most of their time talking about other boxers because Ward is at home on his couch.

You don't mind it in some instances but vociferously complain about it when it happens against guys like Matthysse and Golovkin.

Like I said, it's Freedom-esque. You're going to look pretty ****** if Ward goes in there and boxes Golovkin's **** off without clinching. Then you'll probably complain about something else like "running".
your whole case against hopkins beating calzaghe was that he clinched too much so you aren't being honest. you accept it now even though its much worse than when you were whining about it during the hopkins-calzaghe days?

when it's egregious on the level of ward/wlad i complain vociferously. you tried to make another false equivalency by saying calzaghe-hopkins was the same as a ward/wlad fight and i quickly disproved that by actually watching the fight and giving you numbers. hopkins didn't clinch nearly as much as you whined about or pretended. he didn't even clinch as much as calzaghe against lacy.

come on man if a non pressure fighter like kessler was forcing ward to hold over and over i'm pretty sure he's going to have to hold over and over against ggg. we just saw him hold for 5 rounds straight against rodriguez. you aren't being very realistic by tossing out a ton of evidence.

You keep striking out. I am not a fan of Martin Murray and never have been.

When I said tell your team, I'm talking about Golovkin. His team have said they'll knock out anyone up to 168 including Ward. So why are you talking about catchweights? His team haven't mentioned that thankfully. I haven't heard that mentioned by anyone except scared Golovkin fans.

You aren't being honest when you say that because it was never "my whole case". It wasn't even part of my case. Of course it was annoying and lame but I expect that from Hopkins.

Let the fight happen and then complain afterwards. You're probably going to complain anyway, regardless of how Ward wins which you clearly think is going to be the outcome.

I see right through guys. Stop it!!!
Exactly. Ward fans want to see a matchup between two of boxing's best while Golovkin fans want to avoid that matchup like the plague.

This is the same guy who signed to fight Chavez Jr at 168lbs. His manager has said they would fight Carl Froch at 168lbs.

But the Ward fight needs a catchweight? Wow...total PR disaster for the supposed most feared man in boxing.
GGG petrified? lol. That wouldn't prove anything other than what all catchweight fights prove. The management team tries to gain their man an advantage.

GGG wouldn't give a monkeys whether he fought Ward at 164, 168 or 250. The guy is a fighting machine with no fear.

im ok with both moving up to be honest. ward won a gold medal at 178 and said he wants to finish his career at heavyweight.

golovkin will simply run out of opponents at 160 and need to look at 168 to keep his career going.

They should fight each other at some point during that transition.

Right now Ward is fighting literally nobody though so it's hard to believe he's made any serious attempt at the fight.
