That might be true, but I think boxing in general is more popular now than 5 years ago.

Well kind of true. I just can't wait for the fight to happen. Time travel on May 2 please. :fofl:

Judging by their last fights, I think you have to go with Pacquiao. Mayweather looked like total crap in the Maidana rematch. Pac destroyed Algieri, even after they let him out of the "cage". haha. Of course, most consider Maidana a much tougher opponent as would I. But what exactly did Mayweather do to win that fight? It was a disgraceful decision. And Pac had no trouble with Algieri or Bradley or Rios and hurt Marquez bad before the KO. I think a lot of fans may be overlooking these things here.

And last I read, the betting is swaying in Pac's favor. I challenge anyone to watch that Maidana rematch and tell me Mayweather resembled the best fighter in the world. If so, boxing is in dire trouble. Amir Khan and Alexander handled Maidana much more easily.

Probably as a result of these guys not fighting eachother and the general public buying their fights and being introduced to some of the guys coming up. Had they fought 5 years ago and pacquiao lost (hypothetical) and by chance wanted to retire... There's a whole country who no longer watches boxing. Not to mention the fact that guys like Bradley, Rios, and Algeri don't get the kind of exposure they got from fighting Manny, on their own. From a fans perspective ... Sure, we should've gotten to see it closer to their primes but from a business/what's best for the sport? Right now it's as big as it ever would have been and if it's good for the sport as a whole I'm cool with it...

I don't disagree with what you've said, this is the fight everyone wanted to see and I'm glad it's happening.

Floyd and manny are probably getting paid more now than 5 years ago if they fought each other.

So let me get this straight... If you "don't disagree" then that would mean by definition... That you agree? HAHAHAHA I don't believe if!!!!

I see your ******** knowledge is as good as your boxing's
Here you go goofball... So much for "the bookies always win, everytime,no matter what" lol

Remember when you asked "how could the books possibly lose money on this particular fight?" And I told you exactly how ... Well here's the proof, now you can go ahead and (figuratively) kill yourself.

“I've never seen Mayweather this low eight weeks out before the fight,?said Vaccaro to SAPA. “This is as close as we get to a legitimate pick 'em fight since Mayweather fought De La Hoya. It's a one-way attack on Pacquiao. We're well into a six-figure loss right now if Pacquiao wins.?

Interesting Poll result. People here believe Floyd has a big chance of winning if he survived rounds, not being knocked out. lol. Will root for PacMan to KO that diva Mayweather.
