The difference is that Floyd only used spoiling sparingly in the Pacquiao fight. He relied on his footwork and head movement to evade most of Manny's punches. While Broner had little footwork and no head movement and resorted to clinching every time Porter got within punching range.

The Broner-Porter fight and the May-Pac fight was VERY different.

The reason is the tempo of the fight was different. If you look at the ratio it may be higher. Good example is the Maidana fight. Maidana was more aggressive and Floyd did it more often.

BTW - Even with Floyd's movement, he often illegally pushed off on Manny.
