Why should he or anyone treat Manny fans with any respect after all the years of their repulsive treatment of anyone who likes Floyd?

That has gone both ways, the repulsive behavior from Floyd fans has also been ongoing for years. The fight Is over. The better fighter won.

Not like them. Remember Floyd fans were going to riot and loot if he lost. Sorry, but the decent Manny fans are not being bothered. Just scumbags. They deserve it.

He needed to be relentless and he wasn't. It was a horrible game plan and Roach wasn't even providing answers in between rounds.
The sad part is Roach was not telling him to do something different when there original plan was not working. Trying to set traps to counter FMJ is not a bad thing, but if it is not working, you have to do something else. Roach knows Manny cannot throw 80 punches per round against FMJ because he would be fatigued, but Manny trying to be Marquez in their fourth fight was surely not going to work for 12 rounds.

might still lose but it's his best chance.

                    can't box floyd. can't strategize floyd. that's floyd's game.

roach overthought himself. i don't put stock in the injury stuff. i blame roach.

he overthunk it jmm3 too. tried to have pac counterbox jmm.
                    Exactly correct!!!!

Roach, after talking all that BS for two months was reduced to just blabbering silly statements between rounds. Play "A" went out the window in round one, and plan "B" never came into play. And Roach "Trainer of the year" had no sensible advice to offer his fighter "Fighter of the decade". Those awards bring nothing but laughter at this point in time.

In one night and for all the world to see, Floyd made both the "Fighter of the decade" and the "Trainer of the year" look like rank amateurs.

Mistake #1 - Do not try to outbox Floyd

Mistake #2 - Do not try to out think Floyd on the fly

Mistake #3 - Do not let Floyd control the distance and pace of the fight

This fights result was totally Roach's fault, for not preparing Manny properly and for not giving him a solid plan. Manny can absorb blame for using an excuse post-fight. Even if he was advised by Arum, Kontz and others, Manny should have insisted that the seven-year old injury to his shoulder not be used as an excuse.

pac cant do it 12 rounds anymore for sure.

but he can mix it up. go hard half a round. go hard one round, box next round.

trying to box floyd all 12 was dumb.
