Originally posted by jjsmyth87 View PostFloyd mayweather hasn't ever fought anyone with as much speed, footwork, weird angles, combo punchers, and overall good fighters as pacquiao is. I've heard someone say in the past that Manny has a punchers chance. When was the last time Manny lost a legitimate decision? You have to go all the way back almost ten years to his first Morales fight. Bradley somehow won after being outlanded 2 to 1 and fighting off his back foot all night. Nobody can beat pacquiao legitimately. If anything mayweather is the one who has a punchers chance, yet his hands are to brittle and mannys defense has improved since the Marquez loss. Mayweather lost a decision to the B level fighter Castillo. Mannys only legitimate decision loss ever was a close fight with a legend Morales who pacquiao knocked out in the rematch. Manny has better hand speed, power, and footwork than Floyd, and also throws combos unlike Floyd and is also a south paw which Floyd has trouble with as seen I the zab Judah fight, and also has the in and out style that troubles Floyd as seen in the de la Hoya fight, and in periods of the cotto fight. Manny said himself recently he is not worried about Floyd, and feels he would beat him easily and I honestly feel the same. Of course mayweather is undefeated so alot of people would give him the edge, and hes phillipino and mayweather is American so again of course that would slant the opinions in mayweathers favor as well. Go ask 100 phillipinos in the phillipines who do they think would win I guarantee 90 would say pacquiao. Yet here in America most are saying its 50/50 like de la Hoya, Tim Bradley and others, while most others believe its 50/50 but they give a slight edge to mayweather.
If he were to fight Floyd it would be the worst fight of his life. Look at when he fought a game Morales. He had every physical advantage you could possibly ask for and Morales out boxed him from corner to corner.
Erik never had half the footwork of Floyd and he is not a big puncher yet he neutralized Manny's combination punching with straight right hands and tore him up on the inside with short uppercuts. He used his jab to stiff arm Manny in the face when he leaps in for powershots.
Floyd would make him look like an amateur. Manny can't back Floyd up he doesn't have the size so Floyd would be able to move freely. He can't outjab him as Floyd is just as fast and has better reach and much much much better timing. Floyd also has the power to hurt Manny, he has hurt several fighters much larger than himself and even had enough pop on his shots to stop Canelo dead in the middle of a combination and force him to back up on several occasions with counter shots. Manny's only hope is if Floyd just stands still so he can land a combo on him. Otherwise he is hitting at air while getting laser tagged.

BTW..i had mannybradley2 115-115...2 10-10 rounds my scoring comes from watching in slomo and rounds over and over again..judges are not privy to it but i am so i do it, and i base my records off that
night of the fight i had floyd chion i think 9-3 floyd...next day 7-5 floyd
if floyd manny dont happe i want mannybradley3...well not want, but i'm cool with it

Rios lost every single round against Manny. One can go as far as saying he lost every single minute. So from that he concludes what again? What a joke.
Anyways, its his opinion ..... but until the fight happens, its all speculation at this point. Manny has been the underdog before and overcome those odds.
